I actually think the next step should be that Aruran should start doing collabs when he does another English learning stream. I think he's basically capped out where he can go in terms of viewer growth when it comes to EOP pandering through English lessons, but if he started collabing, he could teach a fellow Star some English, since he seems to have a solid grasp on a lot of concepts so far.

For this kind of pursuit, streamers are probably prioritizing learning English for conversational skills, particularly for international fans, so slang is actually much more helpful in that regard. At the very least it'd help Shien understand what his viewers are saying, which would help him engage more.

The problem comes when that slang they teach doesn't apply to all kaigai. Surprise dude, not everyone is aware of poggers or some shit. Aru's streams actually had some kaigai learning from the other kaigai at times because it's so heavily entrenched in context. Simpler slang's okay though, common and shared colloquialisms and acronyms spanning cultures work best.
