It wouldn't make her more popular, but it certainly would've made her a superior voicebank. Imagine if Crypton hadn't had to rush out both Rin and Len and could have instead just polished Rin. We could've had a high-quality Act 1, and maybe Rin would end up being even more versatile by covering more of Len's range.
They would definitely benefit from being split up now. They're both so good and popular that pairing them together just makes them steal each other's spotlight (in contrast to the other pair of Asami twins that only worked together). If they were treated as their own 'loids more often each of them could shine more. It'd be good for the fans too since the vast majority of us prefer one twin over another.

In Vocaloid, VEL/OPE are for pronunciation, POR/PIT are for pitch, GEN/BRE/BRI/CLE are for tone. IMO you can have one setting for the "tone" options for the whole song and it'll sound good. POR is easier to use the PIT: high values make the pitch slide go later, earlier makes it go faster; it can add an easy artistic flair. Sudden changes in PIT sound really bad. Look at some good UTAU/SynthV covers on YT with the pitch curve visible and study them.

With a virtual idol you're looking at a person acting in front of you.

I realize as I'm typing this though I'm biased "by being the kind of person I am", and some other kind of people do need this human feeling in what they worship. I could imagine them retorting that it's more thrilling to follow "a real" person's path, which contains more random factors, as opposed to follow a fandom which (now) evolves at a regular pace and doesn't offer many thrilling changes. I assume a huge amount of people into hololive are the sort of people who will ride a lot of other trends when they show up.

Can't say I'd recommend Iri's album to anyone who doesn't already like their music, but I think Ghost Ship is really nice song. Really liked SINK as a whole album though. It's got a lot of my recent faves participating and the music is great to chill to. Favorite track is probably Nekomura's since I'm such a sucker for his duets with Miku. I tend to favor collaborative albums in general since I like a lot of different producers and loids, so having a variety is always good to me.

Twinfield's Funny Script was decent. it was rather cut and dry as it seemed that Twinfield was drawing inspiration mostly from his fellow vocaloid producers in his circle NEXTLIGHT with some western mainstream sounds. it's also rather eclectic yet somewhat accessible with sounds ranging from a bit of denpa inspired future bass, house, eurobeat, etc.
I hate to admit it, but I really liked Emotion and Blame Game more than Funny Script.
