one other funny story is when i went to a mountain festival called labrynth. this was like a month after i got to japan and when i realised how many regular japanese guys with like kids and shit are just insane druggies.

when i got out i was just trying to figure out wtf to do while eating some たぬきそば (i think) and this guy next to me was like お箸上手 and he and this half japanese half canadian girl he was with started talking to me and offered to let me stay in their truck for the night. it ended up being fuckin wild cuz this dude was like in his 40s but totally crazy and he ended up popping LSD again and we were drinking tons of beers and then ran out and the guy was like "damn we should go get some more" so he drives through the mountains to the nearest hotel where the festival people were to buy beers from a vending machine lmfao
i realized this dude was a pro cause not 3-4 hours earlier i was literally in the medical tent at the festival thinking that japanese was a language i had invented for myself yet he was able to just drive around in a storm
