I personally enjoyed the translated part of ef but I'm a sucker for those types of stories.

Sharin no Kuni seems pretty interesting.

Wrote this for /bun/ but I might just cp it here regarding Aoi Shiro first impression:

Mystery, occult (japanese folk tales) and daily life/comedic scenes. Love it so far. The filler is like Ever17 type of narrative but done better. The translation is sub-par at the beginning with typos or missing periods but is fine later on. The lunch/dinner scene is also fun to read because of Momoko.

I don't expect the routes' ending or final ending to have bawfest or mindfuck comparable to some of my favorite translated VNs, but I might be surprised.

In my current playthrough the one who save the white haired loli is someone else. Still the branching and flow are surprisingly extensive and natural. Love the protagonist's characterization too.

Continued. My only complain for Aoishiro so far is:
1. Untranslated menus and dictionary. There will be culturally-contextual jargon you have to eat raw
2. Slow pace. It can take1-2 second between one sprite transition to the next. But due to active sprite (with blinking eyes to animated speech), special effects and great voice acting, it's less annoying
