If you're the Iku I think you are then you've improved. Personally I'd say that Iku is quite a selection of anti air moves, but perhaps Suwakos aproach cuts through it. Patche on the other hand, with shit like j.5C it's impossible to aproach ny air. And Suwako on ground is only good for defence, but I was never able to cut your corner strings; odd. But I'll have to add that I got somewhat uncreative at the end. Suwako play demands creativity.

Well GGs Rabbit-Box, you probably might've got a spot in that list if I'd played you more than once. Better get a paragraph started on your style though.
I have to say I really like how you run Youmu with counters and spam 5C at every possible opportunity, it's a pretty refreshing change from ZomB shit like constant DPs. I'm still trying to convert my Okuu's playstyle into a superpatient one because that seems to suit her best, but I'm still adjusting as you can see from shit like HURR MASSACRE IN THE CORNER.
Still, I'd set this game down for a couple days and normally whenever I do that I'm used to playing like shit when I get back but I had some really fun matches with you, thanks for showing up brah.

Haha, thank you very much. We would probably play more often but everyone lines up to play you since you're so sporting.

With my Youmu deck, I've built a number of themed ones. The basic workhorse deck I use is general purpose and is suited for the 3[A]->623C gimmick. The other deck you saw I actually filled completely with counters, reflectors and reversals which require me to read into your game with the loss of dragon punch. I also have a lolattack deck I'd like to try out some more some time. ZomB is the superior Youmu, but I'm glad you like our differing styles.

what is this I don't even
I don't see where you'd even get that from. I'm not even very good; the only reason people would want to play me so much is for my signature longass paragraphs about nothing.

Still, I think the counter deck works fairly well considering how much tourneyfags dislike the skillcard as opposed to the SC version; against Cirno though the only time it could do much was when I was stupid enough to random a 66C or whiff something else, which only happened a couple times. It seems really situational and matchup-based, and running it against projectile-heavy characters like most of my mains probably won't work out very well.

>Alice fell flat
Alices are so goddamn rare these days, she's one of the most fun characters to fight against. I am the epitome of eating 6A apparently, though. You'd think after about 50 of them I'd get it through my thick skull to start blocking as opposed to trying to get in more, but NOPE. I think I just need to play against more Alice players, though. All two of them.

>My poor Suwako really had no chance
Not true, you probably would've won that match if not for luckily-timed snakes at the end. I didn't see you comboing much with her though so you might want to try out the one I use stolen from a certain IRC tourneyfag which is (from lily)6A HJC j.8A 6B 6C, and works well because the latter two aim at the opponent and don't miss if you time them right. The only real problem with it is that I think if the first 6A is a CH it'll launch them too high and make it easier to botch the timing of j.8A.
All the good Suwakos I see run the laser alt 623, which might be a good idea since I didn't see you using it -- it may not hit often but it's REALLY annoying and makes for excellent grazetraps. The only reason I don't run it is because chakramspin looks cooler.

Alice is pretty decent if you know what you are doing. Her melee got really good speed and range, and her dolls, if well positioned, can do serious damage/a hell of a combo. A good Alice player can win without taking a single hit.

2x Purple Slide
2x Myon Explosion
4x Green Sword
1x Five Card Runpast
1x Blue Sword
3x Cherry Blossom Cut
3x Pillar
1x Five card Reversal
2x Dragon punch Spellcard

Purple Slides are for low attack guard crushing, Myon explosion is to catch off guard or aggressive players. Green sword is for easily comboed or cheap 3 orb damage. Cherry cut for guard crushing in corners. Pillar is a handy reversal that can also double as a more expensive spirit damage card, and some of its cooldown can be canceled with 623B/C. Dragonpunch is for cheap reversals and the super cards are for desperation attacks. Green cross cut is there to add spice if necessary.

4x Greensword (Combos and crushes)
2x Runpast5 (Combos and punishment)
2x Bluesword (Crushes and typhoon)

They can't. You're just mistiming the 5A. Of course, people shouldn't be doing wake-up poking in the first place, but some people can't shake bad habits and get away with it in netplay lag.

>> No.3422191

GGs. Fighting your Okuu would be a lot easier if the lag didn't give you 2 seconds to react to everything I do. Even more when I'm in the air, since that attack of Okuu is unblockable. Everytime I used 22BC with Remilia (sometimes I didn't even want to, but that lag didn't let me input 236 and 214 correctly and so it became 22), I gave you free 2000 damage. You could even time it to beat 22C with Okuu's 3A. I didn't even know that this was possible. Inputting 623 is even more annoying in the delay. Instead of hitting you with Kanako, all I get is that I stop blocking.

That one fight Iku vs. Okuu. When you used that spellcard in the very end. All I did was pressing 4 to block with lots of orbs, but I was still hit. Because I was facing in the wrong direction? I don't know how, but anyone is able to turn around faster than me. I must do something horribly wrong.

GGs Aoa, very choppy games. Sorry for playing so few. There should be no delay anyhow. Maybe your connection a little unstable today?

Okay NOW I read this. I'll look back in here later.

Its a psuedo-infinite, it can easily be broken out of. The thing is if I get the timing on the bubbles correctly, its harder for you to break out.

A thing I don't like about 12.3 is if I hold block and jump I have to quickly hit block again because jumping cancels out the first block. A lot of the reasons I got thrown back into combo loops with your Reimu and Yukari. Your Iku was good but is a little rough around the edges.

You're so good with every character.

Heh, wanting to finish the last game with the St. Ooe massacre card? Good that I kept an eye on that.

As I said in >>3425082 I wanted to play some mirror matches because I even suck with my main. Why does this game not have a chat?

>> No.3425141

>>3425119
I usually only keep it active to make the opponent jumpy, but I just had to try on your predictable wakeup.

>Why does this game not have a chat?
There's always IRC, you know.

If I hadn't looked up Suika's spellcards yesterday, I would've tried to block that.

And how can a wakeup be NOT predictable?

>> No.3425164

>>3425152
By NOT trying to get out of the corner everytime.
I agree that it's good for you most of the time to escape but it's not good at all when I know where you get up.

>> No.3425167

>>3425152
Lets say if your in the corner your opponent will expect you to roll out. if you just neutral recover, while they're jumping back to catch you on your roll wake up then thats not being predictable on wake-up

Question:
BE with hj8 requires to tap 2 before DD, then don't I immediately stop blocking before the BE?

Not exactly. There's a period after you jump in which you can't block. High jumps have a longer no-block period. Also most ground melee attacks cannot be airblocked at all.

good game. um well. I'm not really a suika player, so I dont know whats good. try and not attack me at wake up. Reimu's DP got invincibility.

o right, try and practice grazing and move in a hard to get motion. be as slippery as hell then melee, Guy got gold when he got that concept working. Blocking and counter to me is far more effective than blockstrings, since it breaks opponents concentrations and strategy.
