Hey really nice progress you did there. It took me abit to actually transition from MIA, cause I kinda didn't like how it just gave me all those things to do. I think when doing MIA you also have to learn some kanji, and I gave up after about 50 or so. It was way too stressful and they all looked the same...
I am actually doing genki and it is really good especially cause you don't have to learn kanji or even hiragana, because they have the romanji in there as well :)
I already learned some words and also installed a language app to talk to japanese people, and even already made a friend. We write in english most of the time but sometimes I switch some words into japanese to show how much I have already learned ;)
I am also glad other people are at this early stage as me, let's gambarimas together ;)
