I believe it will survive through all the hardships and screw-ups anyway since it is a very popular game/saga and one of the most enjoyable games of DMM in my opinion.

If you are planning to play the English version, I would suggest to play on the DMM version as long as you do not really care about the narrative nor you do not know Japanese. You could always try making screenshots and translate the text though if you wanted.

Not the poster you're replying to but that's pretty much what I said. It's pretty generous if you just want to roll but you want a specific unit then the entire game is rigged against you from the currency gain rate to the rates to the pretty much everything.
Getting a old unit is trivial with all the pick tickets here and there so it's really easy to guarantee the one you want but if you want a 2020+ character then you're shit out of luck unless you had 50k stones to guarantee them and god save you if many characters you want come out in quick succession. The entire random limiteds make everything worse too because they're not predictable seasonal alts but "we felt like it so here's a limited char that wont be coming back!" out of absolutely nowhere.

It falls behind pretty much any known or discussed gacha pretty much. Gacha is about the stick and carrot so if there's too much stick and not enough carrot then that's a kusoge right there but most of the known games have evolved over the years to discovering players like being able to get characters they want and give you many ways to do so while most DMM games are still stuck in the past where terrible mechanics and horrible rates were king.

Replying with "You should play less gacha" is like telling someone to buy something in the first place they see it instead of doing some quick searching around and checking if other places can offer the same service but better and/or cheaper. What is your favourite Eiyuu Senki character and why? Can either be looks, abilities, skill visuals whatever you can think of.

In my case, if I had to choose I would likely go for Catherine (Maid). Lovely artstyle, outfit, hair body and big breasted. I also really like her H-scenes plus she has a caring personality that complements greatly with her sweet voice.

She has a very useful ability that can completely heal one ally but other than that, her other abilities and item build is kinda mediocre but hopefully I am wrong and I can find a great use for her in the future.

Left is what I ran last week and it worked well. Right is me trying to fit new and awakened units into it but it's not working as well as I hoped.

Point is to make vertical cleaving impossible for the opponent and wasting his time with the tanks on the bottom while digging into his team with the attack team on top.
It gets destroyed if the enemy has enough horizontal cleaves or a bunch of 8k hp tanks spamming taunts though.

Oh yeah, a single horizontal attacker on the bottom that manages to survive until my tanks are gone is pretty deadly too.
The major problem I have now is that I got a really strong horizontal cleave unit, but throwing her into the stack at the top just causes her to 1shot some half dead lone survivor from the first round instead of the 4 units on the 2nd row, making her mostly useless.

I've just realized that Eiyu Senki EN is already dead.
There are no communities for that game anywhere, I've even tried going through twitter just to see if ANYONE is talking about it. There's no talk about it anywhere - it's a graveyard on 4chan, reddit and twitter at the same time, the only news that pop up is how it's censored and devs told everyone to fuck off and not play it. I do not know if you perform multiple rolls on a banner but you can easily get between events enough gems to always pull the first draw.

As for the costumes, they do generally make their way to the ticket pools if they aren't in them initially, depending on which type of panel pool it is. I don't recall any that haven't at least. But it's a pain to chase them down at that point due to the oversaturation. I'm still trying to get the bunny yukata Gina. That said, they gave out a free selection ticket back during... I think the 2nd anniversary period? And I used it to pick a different Gina costume (the streetwear one, which was pretty new at the time).

I used to run a similar setup, but it's the kind that gets fucked over by Chiiko the most.
If the opponent happens to have something like Hikari or Kuon set safely on the bottom and Chiiko on the top/middle, you'll be forced to gnaw away at her retarded def/healing before you even get to touch the one unit on the bottom that'll blow up your entire row the moment your tanks are gone.
Not that I had Chiiko though, so my bottom could have been sturdier I guess.

Now I just leave a complimentary Kazuha on the top to dab on everyone still placing all their damage dealers there. Having the unit that counters the formation makes me want to use it a lot less myself.

The beta season of the pvp mode was basically made for NEETs.
You got the same amount of merit from losing/winning defensive fights as you did from losing/winning normal fights, and while even the whales are limited to 25 normal fights a day, there isn't any real limit to how many times you can get attacked a day.

The whole top 100 was basically just people using bait names like "one unit service time" or "hit me for free 2k merit", since that was the best way to get people to attack you. They had to hide the player names after a while to make it stop.

I made it into the top 20 by basically just sticking to the low ranks with a lot of people and keeping a constant eye on the game through the whole 2nd week while switching to defend the forts that got attacked at the moment. Just making it into the top 100 merit ranking made you 5k coins back then.
Now that they nerfed the defensive merit to 1/10 of the original value it isn't really worth it anymore. It still gives you a slight edge, but not enough to warrant doing that shit for 4 whole weeks.

I think the current meta is making it past the ranks with a lot of people and just win streaking on NPCs after that, but it requires a pretty decent comp to pull off. Buying fans every day is pretty much a prerequisite to make it into the top ~300 too now.

It's not like you can't hit the high rankings now if you're fine with spending gems every day. Just defend with a super trash comp to sink your rating and keep getting easy win streaks on opponents ranked "higher" than you.
The issue is you'll still only get like ~4k coins from the merit rankings alone and need to earn the last 1k from having a high rank, which you probably won't reach without a good team.

Getting in the top 1k is pretty easy even without using any gems though, and it still nets you 3k coins, so as long as you keep at it you'll have her eventually.
