Just to add some personal experience Ive used tenso, zenmarket and buyee in the past with no problem, tenso needs verification but it is useful to have for things that have a very limited selling time. Buyee is usually convenient but the consolidation fee can build up. Zenmarket can take a day sometimes to buy your item but are usually very fast in buying in my experience, the packing can take a few days however.

I like little things in the YouTube channels interfaces. The boys changing their profile pics or the banners in YouTube and on Twitter. I also like that Oga and Shien put each other first on the recommended channels list. Seeing that some members still list Kira's channel and others have stopped to after a few months is interesting as well. The way their recommended videos are organized is nice to see as well. Papa, Izuru and Roberu create playlist for everything while Kira never did and Astel only has a few. I like seeing how each member organizes their channel

I loved using fromJapan's service but they changed their service fee from 300 yen flat per order to 300 yen per item two years ago which only seems worth it if you really only want to buy one thing. I like that they charge no consolidation fee to combine parcels and that they let you undervalue the shipment despite being a proxy. Also ​their customer service is really responsive.
I wasn't able to find a proxy service like theirs again so I switched to a forwarding service. Currently I am using Blackship but I also tried Tenso for a few months before that. Using a forwarding service is nice since you can buy the items yourself and can grab stuff that might sell out fast.
