I do have some Vocaloid merch and I absolutely love Vocaloid music because of the same reasons I like fanmade Touhou arrange. But to me, it's not a love that's any different with the one I have for Motörhead for example.
There are very few people that actually deify them. When I call Luka a goddess it's mostly in good fun because I think she's the better one, but nothing else behind it.

I get you. I personally also struggle to find more melodic hardcore techno I'd like. CosMo introduced me to how fun fast electronic music can be, and from that I mostly found out about others from rhythm games and collaborations. The fact that I like mostly Japanese producers(t+pazolite, camellia, kobaryo, etc) makes it even harder, not even /mu/ can help much.
