Why does Asahi suck so much? Can nips really not handle aftertaste from beer?

I don't drink, so I wouldn't know.

Sleeping Taiga is the main reason why Taiga route should exist. Drunk oneesan all over Shirou? Hell yeah.

Yebisu has a taste similar to Asahi except it's more pronounced.

Then again $4 of Yebisu for half the size of a $2.50 pint of Asahi.
If you're buying, I'll grab the Yebisu though

China has stepped up their mass-production of beer, but unfortunately hasn't picked up on the craft-beer aspect. I have yet to encounter a decent chinese beer, but with their exploding market there's a chance they might try their hand at making something worth drinking at some point.

Heh, I'm lucky a store that carries a ton of Hitachino stuff is nearby. The've got
Hitachino Classic
Hitachino Expresso
Hitachino Hefe
Hitachino Oak IPA
Hitachino Red Rice
Hitachino Red Wine Rice Ale
Hitachino Sweet Lacto
Hitachino White Ale
Hitichino Ginger
Hitichino XH
and I've only tried the Ginger so far, it was certainly interesting. This thread has renewed my interest in that brewery, so I'll go pick up some more of em tomorrow. Too bad the're at least $4 a bottle, said store closed 4 hours ago ;_;

drink in moderation my friend. I like beer, i just drink it once a month or two and buy something nice. I'm healthy, fit and strong, nothing wrong here.

>> No.3461349

>>3461306
Good beer actually works best in moderation. I generally only have 1-2 beers in a sitting, and I'm a big dude. More than that and you begin to lose out on the flavor. Also binging on good beer gets expensive.

If you are drinking for the sake of inebriation, stick to liquor.
If you want to get fat, chug cheap crappy beer in large quantities, and wonder why you've become even more repugnant.

>> No.3461352

You're very wrong. Drinking liquor instead of beer won't help your gut as it's the alcohol content that is the main factor

>> No.3461398

>>3461375
I think you missed my point, so let me clarify it for you.
Good beer is best inn small quantities.
If your objective is to get trashed, getting fat comes with the territory. Its a waste to binge on good beer, and getting trashed on bad beer takes a lot of effort. If the objective is inebriation, stick to liquor.

>> No.3461444

>>3461398

It's not a waste if you like the taste of good beer and enjoy getting wasted at the same time. And i prefer beer to liquor

>> No.3461479

Because Asahi =shitsux.
Try Hoegaarden or Blanche de Bruxelles.

Suit yourself I guess, I find the finer aspects of drink get lost the more I drink, and it takes a good deal more than a 6pack to put me under, even if its a high-content. To me it simply makes more sense to focus on the hard stuff on one of the exceedingly rare occasions I actually want to get hammered.
