Focus on maid youmu event. Youmu/Marisa is solid for doing hard Aya and get 200 event points for 5 energy per run. You can exchange 200 event points for 500 energy = unlimited profit.

Don't whale for Remilia. She is not a festival unit. Only whale for festival units since those are time limited. Other units you can just pick up while whaling.

Basically, your goal should be to stockup on resources (coins and cubes) so when a festival unit comes on, you can force it to spark, thus saving you money and guaranteeing you your unit. If you grind perfectly, you should at most only have to pay for Nitori's Pick Up, and even that you might skip.

Right now, invest in Youmu. Get her to Lv. 100, limit break her ASAP, build her skills. She will carry you to glory.

You've got a very solid groundwork, build on it.

The first event in the jap version was utter hell. Not only were the points you got much lower, but full auto and 2x speed were not a thing yet. I remember stopping after getting the paper doll for getting 250k points because it was just too tedious.

Should I be bothering to roll under the Remi banner? I like her, but Yuyuko bankrupted me, and if Remilia is not limited I figured it'd be more prudent to try and rebuild my resources. I've just been using the Kourindou rolls since they're counting for my dailies/weeklies.

I do have a Sakuya that's served me well so far but I think leaving her at only 1 LB has been the most effective since I need the metal spell card she has to trigger on full auto.

I've mostly limited myself to only doing sparks since I'd rather guarantee a character I want than be at the mercy of RNJesus for multiple ones and I'm happier that way
the chances for yolo'ing a featured character aren't great but if you really like them it wouldn't hurt, just be aware she'll be in the regular pool eventually, which means shots at her from character tickets and future spark collateral
I'd recommend global players take advantage of kourindou roulette to start saving for a spark, as much as it hurts getting shitty 10rolls, iirc toyohime didn't take long to release in JP and she's a monster, still useful to this day

Coming from FGO I like the QOL stuff.
Outside of the obvious autobattle & instant rematch, the most impressive feature for me was being able to check a material and see all the nodes it drops from and instantly go to it.

What I don't dig is the focus on being sp efficient and running a node thousands of times with pittance for rewards.
I much prefer running a node a couple dozen of times for a much larger sp/ap cost in exchange for much better rewards per run.
That and I haven't seen any interesting encounter yet, the best parts of FGO for me are the challenge fights where bosses have gimmicks or a theme you have to play around.

Does the JP Wiki detail best in slot Story Cards for spellcards? Or is there a Google Doc or something for it? The Global Guide only tells you which ones are generally good but I could use some specific information.

Sakuya is a selfish attacker and won't really help you for farming waves, but shes been pretty useful for me in the event because Reisen and Aya have both been weak to Metal so she breaks them easily

10 prayers can be a bit resource intensive, but if you pull once a day for free (remember the Daily prayer mission refunds the cost) then you only need to "spend" on 3 prayers to finish the mission, which certainly isn't that bad considering how valuable Paper Dolls are.

Getting the Spirit Points under the cap so you can collect from Reimu every day also isn't that hard, but it can get difficult if you collect shit like Nitori's Delivery or the Homework/Tasks bonuses without thinking before collecting from Reimu.

I was farming Marisa with Youmu and Ran and decided to put Medicine in to gain some levels. Now Youmu and Ran are absolutely crushing Marisa and practically doubling their damage. What's going on here? I looked at Medicine's skills and none of them say anything about lowering defense.

Medicine can break any barrier under poison status. Broken enemies receive higher damage from any attack, that's why your Youmu is dealing a lot of dmg with Medicine... I think. I don't have Medi and cant test it myself, but breaking barriers is her primary role.

As Global currently stands, event content objectively gives more XP than its standard equivalent. Clearing any Hard event level grants 650XP while Hard Kasen gives 467XP. You can observe this by checking your units XP before and after battle.
XP is fixed; all participants are given the same amount before bonuses are applied, regardless of their level or amount of participants. Great morale adds a 20% bonus to XP and the last 3 foods additionally have their own bonuses that stack with each other but not themselves.

Alright so I finally unlocked Youmu's last word. How do I best utilize this fuck machine?
Judging from the thread so far I'm not sure if I should be going for yin/yang att boosts or acc/crit acc.
If it helps any I've got almost every story card for either boost, but the only unit I see that can't support Youmu is Reimu and Dai. Here's a list of my girls so far if anyone has constructive criticism (besides get a job)
