I've been out of the rhythm game loop for years. Last time I was in was when Gravity Wars was released on the pig site Getting old sucks I can't clear 10's in IIDX or anything above a 15 in SDVX.

Also, did the pandemic just wipe out the n-1 rule? The fact I can extremely easily find Bistrover and Exceed Gear is nuts.

Unfortunately, music-wise the scene is kind of in a state of stagnation, a lot of the new songs circa late cannon ballers and after sound samey and boring desu. Ironically, DDR probably gets the freshest tracks at this moment, stuff like Helios, Mythomane, and Bounce Trippy are at worst interesting, and at best bonafide bops.

Nominally things should still be N - 1, but N - 0 is indeed much easier to find these days, particularly for IIDX and SDVX. My guess is because of the popularity spike among weebs who really don't give a shit about the sows old guard and their rules, especially because said old guard tends to flaunt their own N - 0 setups. DDR too, but the one available on the internet is noticeably spotty and missing a lot of stuff; I think the only way you can get full A20 data currently is to be buddy-buddy with some scene insiders, aka the sows old guard.

Deschloroketamine (2-oxo-PCM) - physical effects very close to MXE but "heavier"/more sedating. It seems to be missing the visual aspect of MXE.

2-oxo-PCE - some visual aspects of s-isomer MXE, but lacks the matching physical aspect.

N-Ethyl-Ketamine - Sold as ketamine. Comparable but required higher dose and redose was not as strong in terms of dissociation. Visuals were similar to sub hole ketamine doses.

3-MeO-PCP - Strong physical euphoria/body stimulation in general, but has a manic/chaotic mental factor that I wasn't a fan of.

2-MeO-Diphenidine (MXP) - Like DXM and MXE had a child, halfway between both and lasts FOREVER. Visuals aren't as clean as MXE but still an enjoyable time. This one gave me a feeling of physical tingles/electricity at my fingertips which was strange but novel.

Diphenidine - felt like a beta v1.0 version of any dissociative. Basic feeling and very harsh on the nose. Orally it was OK but still nothing special.

DXM - Was given a gram of DXM extract, the only way I'd try it. It felt very light compared to other dissociatives and the headspace was sloppy/difficult to navigate. Maybe if I experienced this before any other dissociative it would have been a good intro...but trying it late in the game feels like I brought a bicycle to a motorcycle club.
