>[16:02] <@nanashi_> jpsie, feel free to leave a feedback. https://www.4chan.org/feedback.php
>[16:05] <@nanashi_> The new board is not meant to be a containment board. Think of how Pokemon threads can still be made on /a/ or /v/, despite /vp/ existing.
>[16:05] <jpsie> Pokemon threads are not constantly the most active threads on those boards. If there was a pokemon general which had 10 posts per minute while the rest of the board has below 1 post per minute, then I'd think it would be moved to /vp/ as well.
>[16:06] <@nanashi_> The board is new and we're still trying to figure out what's best in the long run for both audiences.
>[16:06] <@nanashi_> Honest feedback by users will definitely be appreciated.
I made this thread to celebrate exactly six months since /vt/ was created, and also since this exchange happened on IRC. Don't worry, nanashi, we know you mods are slow, but we're still waiting until you figure that out!

Sorry, but the mods want two vtuber boards.

There are currently 25 vtuber threads up, give or take.
Hololive is still consistently the most active thread on the board but that wouldn't be an issue if they didn't have so many people making offshoot holo threads as well because they know they can get away with it.

I didn't even realize that thread was still up.
God I hate /qa/ and its total lack of any sort of quality.

I'm honestly baffled on the state of that place. I don't even understand, it's just surreal looking at it.

It's like some weird bastard SFW child of /s4s/ and /b/ but instead of having fun their main goal is to just be disruptive and get as many replies as possible. The "culture" that developed there just should not exist and I can't imagine the sort of absolute wreck of a human being that regularly browses it.

Nah. Don't try to bargain with offboarder scum. One dogshit thread means one less good (or at least mediocre) thread. One containment thread of inbred retards entails constant risk of them spilling and shitting all over the rest of the board (which is exactly what happens).

Has anyone asked them on IRC about recently? There were I think two discussions with them when this all first started which was this post and the one with the other mod that just started ERPing in the middle of it. Maybe you can get someone more reasonable this time.

Bargaining is the only solution we have because the mods themselves are on their side. Unless we tried to raze it all to the ground and personally try to destroy /jp/ they'd never consider such a hardline stance, but even a few weeks ago when we had 40+ vtuber threads the mods still allowed it all for quite a while. I don't think there's any path forward that leads to a victory, just a path that leads to less of a loss.

Oh wait, this was in reference to when they were churning out a dozen new boards that people were hopeful would slow down the faster ones a bit, but they were just offshoots like /vt/ winded up being. Could have sworn there was a mention of /jp/ in it, but I guess not.

>> No.35888512,1 [INTERNAL]

Haha, I guess the mods are really going full crackdown on anything that complains about them in general now, rather than actually bothering to fix what's being complained about since that'd take time away from their IRC ERP.

>>35888512,1
I'm surprised this thread lasted for so long.
Still, if they're starting to get this upset, ramping up the pressure might result in something happening. Whether that's good or bad there's no way to know, but anything at all is better than the literal nothing of the past 6 months.

I knew the risk was there but I never expected them to actually go and rangeban me, I guess this mod really is far more butthurt and corrupt than I expected. Cue smug shitposters here. Someone please try to go ahead and see what happens by contacting them directly on IRC as >>35888401 said, even if there's a risk of another rangeban getting more proof of how partial this mod is might actually work in /jp/'s cause by showing how bad things have gotten.
And also, the fact that I can still send feedback probably means that the feedback form really is as useless as I've always thought.

Try contacting Hiro too, who knows what could happen.

In my case I had some hopes because I spent most of December and January telling mods to make /vt/ through there and it worked in the end (even though it wasn't in the intended way since they pussied out), but it's sad to see more posts that give more reasons to believe the feedback form is completely useless.

>> No.35888512,7 [INTERNAL]

Is IRC really the only option we have? I have a feeling that they will just instantly kick you out as soon as you mention /jp/.

And as for Hiro, that guy has zero fucking clue on what's happening on 4chan. Even if someone managed to get in contact with him, he would probably just reply with something along the lines of "i no understand /jp/ problem vely sorrry talk to moderator bye bye".

>> No.35888512,8 [INTERNAL]

>>35888512,7
I recall back on his first months back in 2015, there was an issue where /a/'s moderation started deleting anime screencaps with nipples in them even though that was always allowed. People then managed to get in touch with Hiro, who made a few meta-threads himself in the board to discuss that matter, actually managed to reach an agreement with the board, and that mod who tried to force his own rules was never seen again. Sure that might only have happened because he was new at the job and he wanted to give a good impression, but still, I want to believe that something like that can happen again (because it's all we have left after all).

As for IRC, well, that's the only way to contact them directly so it might be worth a try. Last time anyone tried it we got this thread's OP which did make their stance on /vt/ a bit clear after all despite all the lies about wanting feedback.
