I usually add the movies one at a time, and I usually do a handful every night, more on the weekends. I started up some weeks ago and am up to about 500 movies in Stash now.

I'll take a folder containing a video, with both folder and video just having the code for the name, and I'll move them from the download folder on my SSD to the Stash folder on my NAS. There's no organization here. It's just a bunch of folders with codes.

While the video is moving, I create the movie in Stash. The movie is just a an empty container which I will add the videos to. I then scan for new files in Stash. It finds the new files in seconds. I think it scans everything, but it's been very fast for me. These appear in the Scenes tab where I point them to the movie I just created. I also fill out the detail fields. I use one of the Stash scrapers to automate part of this, but need to finesse the information.
