Oh please, those tits will never change the fact that those characters lack a plot. Bleach has 200+ shitty characters that nobody cares about. Naruto's characters on the other hand are respected across the globe. Sasuke and Zabuzas' fanbase alone are bigger than all of Bleach's cast combined. And I have the numbers to prove this. Wrong for multiple reasons, but I'm sleepy so I'll let you slide on a few.

1). Unlike Bleach, DBZ did not air in the 21st century. In comparison to other shows in DBZ's genre *at the time, it was in a league of its own.
2). DBZ (and even YYH) set the pace for all of the shows that would come after it. 70 to 80% of Bleach and Naruto's (shonen-fightan) cliches originated from Dragonball, DBZ, and even Rurouni Kenshin.

And yes, time does matter. There are some anime from the 80s and early 90s that stand the test of time, but let's not kid ourselves here, most of it was shit. For a show like Dragonball to have been as good as it was, is a testament to its legacy. DBZ the second best selling manga of all time went on to create the best selling and most popular genre in anime. (Maybe with a little help from Saint Seiya and Hokuto no Ken.)
