No, I hate Genshin. I usually hate it when people get triggered over innocent things like games because they’re supposedly racist, but Genshin Impact is an exception. The hilichurls are savage black natives, with existing but “uncivilised” language and culture, that (and this is the worst part) you’re supposed to kill for no reason. It reads almost exactly like how racists see the colonisation of America, Australia, Africa, etc. Also, the human characters are all either white or Asian. Seeing that Mihoyo is a Chinese company, I think they’re trying to suck up to racist white people and say “We Chinese people are civilised humans like whites and not barbaric hilichurls like everyone else”.

I hate Gayshit Impact with every fiber of my soul.

It was really fun at the start, the world felt truly rich and going from quest to quest took a lot because walking from place to place often ended in detours when trying to get whatever trinkets you'd find. The music is really good too which also helps.

However once you played for a while, the world doesn't feel that special anymore since you explored everywhere and figured out most of the cool puzzles. The rewards are mediocre at best so they don't feel like they're worth chasing.

Farming doesn't feel that fun for me and sorting through your artifacts is painful. Even if you get a shiny new character, getting them up to speed is a very different matter. They too need their own artifacts which are merciless to farm.

Perhaps the saddest part is that every SSR needs pretty much the same artifacts, but in different colors (crit rate/crit damage are pretty much the only stats that matter) . They also play the same. The 4 star characters are much more interesting and well put together IMO.

I haven't played it in quite a while. I enjoyed my time with it however.

Genshin is objectively really good. I didn't know chinamen could make video games. It's basically Breath of the Wild for free but with more stupid weeb shit you can do after you beat the game.

Most of the events are meh but the real problem is that much of the new content they have added is disconnected from the main world. I wish they would stop adding gay little islands like every dumbass MMORPG studio does, and instead expand the original continent further.

I feel the opposite, I think they're overdesigned and have too many little details and trinkets attached to their outfits. I also dislike how much they show off girl's armpits and boy's tummies. It's strange, because it's not always a 'sexy' outfit, it's like a full suit and then you can still see a bit of tummy. I think in your case, it may possibly be because characters tend to wear relatively normal clothing and not ridiculously lewd shit like many gatcha, nor have that D_cide super /fa/ style, nor do they fall back on typical anime shit like schoolgirl outfits. I think they rely on a leotard/bodysuit as a base for the girls too much myself. You might also be a tittyfag and there aren't any girls with oversized tits, since it's firmly an ass game. I also want to say if anything makes me tired of Asians' obsession with asymmetrical clothing, it's this game.

I downloaded it about a week ago and I've played ~1 hour of it. It's alright. Tbh most of the reason I got it is because I have several friends who play, so it acts as something to talk about if nothing else.

I'm awaiting the Switch release assuming they don't charge. My biggest complaint is that I feel like an open world, 3d RPG would inevitably have clunky controls on mobile.

Imagine you made a skill based game, but its audience was a bunch of n00bs who get filtered just trying to jump over a puddle. This game used to have fun content but it keeps becoming more bland and easy. New content just gets hugely inflated HP so people without skill can just spend more money and mash the attack button to defeat them. Played it for a couple of month.
Early game was ok because many things to explore and main quest to do, but then after the content are exhausted, there is nothing to do except from grinding daily quest or doing event like any other mobage.
The map while it is considerably vast, it lacks meaningful content/interaction and many area feels dead.
Nowadays I prefer genshin mmd porn than actually playing the game.
