That's not the complaint, the problem with detached h-scenes is that it misses the point of being an eroge, you don't get porn woven into the story and relationship but just bunch of context-less stuff at the end, might as well fap to a doujin at that point.

Detached H-scenes are only a problem when all of them are detached. That's why it's another case of porn spam. There was the example of Chrono Clock. You finish the route and get 1 scene. You have an intro part and then the H. Then you unlock the next scene. Do you read all scenes in a row or how do you handle this shit? I don't like that. But I also don't want 4 fucking long scenes with no breaks while I'm reading the route. And so many routes consists mostly of H and bad drama with no ichaicha.
That's why a mix of few H-scenes during the route and then a few more detached ones is the best imo. It's less tiring and gives a reason to revisit the heroine after finishing the route. And you still have some H during the route itself.
