anime is created in japan in japanese language. in my opinion subs are just as bad as dubs. if you are reading subs you might as well just read the manga. but in english even the manga is inaccurate. there are tons of jokes and puns that do not even get a TL not in english. one I remember is in an early episode of index they say church and it is mistake for a study group because they are homonyms in Japanese but there was not any hint to in the subs on the one I downloaded.

I never said anything about being accepted. I do not expect to be accepted beyond as the foreigner guy. Its not like I am leaving anything behind. If you are on /jp/ you are probably similar to me.
