We can't really tell, can we? Rin as she exists in FSN is defined by her relationship to Shirou because she was deliberately constructed to be a foil for him. UBW and HF both have her undergo the same underlying conflict while sharing many similar traits with Shirou; both being defined by the underlying conflict between fulfilling the dreams of their fathers and achieving personal happiness. UBW has their having to realize that the path they chose (magus and seigi no mikata) they did so because the pursuit of that dream brought them happiness, and by accepting that they can moderate the extreme nature of those paths by only pursuing them inasmuch as it brings them personal joy. The difference lies in that Shirou is far less mentally healthy than Rin, so while she without much trouble reaches that conclusion by the time of Shirou's defect (even if it takes her time to fully internalize that by committing to a relationship with Shirou), Shirou nearly completely lacks self-worth; it requires his loving in love with Rin and her passing on her hedonistic mindset onto him for him to do the same. HF in particular takes this to even greater extremes by facing them with the dilemma of having the choose Sakura or the lives of untold innocents; Rin on one hand sees that saving her is impossible so she doesn't really intend to try, while Shirou on the other has never stopped trying to jump over poles that were clearly too high for him. Yet when push comes to shove, Rin can choose to save Sakura without self-destructing, managing to continue being a mage despite choosing to spare her sister; Shirou on the other hand implodes.

I think this shows why Rin is a fucking incredible secondary protagonist but doesn't work as well as a primary one:

1. Rin is the most mentally stable of the members of the main cast of FSN and her inner struggles aren't as explosive as those of the others, especially Shirou. That's because she's, again, there to be his foil; she experiences similar to exact problems but comes out on the other side with far greater ease. She makes Shirou look even more disturbed in comparison.

2. Rin's character is far too intimately defined by her relationship with and to Shirou. He's basically the character without which Rin can't exist as even her relationship with Sakura and her arc in HF are defined by her relation to Shirou (more on that in a bit). Her arc in UBW is subordinated to Shirou, as Shirou is to her what Saber is to Shirou; as Saber is the personification of Shirou's ideal, so too is he the personification of Rin's more idealistic side which yearns to do the impossible. That's why the latter half of UBW has her inner conflict between her idealistic side and her pragmatic ruthless magus persona her father would have wanted her to be and the eventual victory of the former manifest as her choosing to enter a romantic relationship with Shirou and choosing to support him in his pursuit of his impossible ideal, because as she confesses to Archer, she is saved by being with Shirou and his softness and naïveté rubbing off on her; first, by making Saber, the personification of Shirou's ideal, her own Servant (an allegory for her accepting Shirou's ideal), then by giving him the mana necessary to use his Reality Marble (an allegory for her helping him achieve his dream), and finally by choosing to do the impossible and saving Shinji, which she would never otherwise do. That's the point of the high jump scene in HF; to show us why she tries so hard to save Shinji in UBW but not Sakura in HF (until the very end). She is not in a romantic relationship with Shirou in HF and he doesn't have the influence that he has over her as in UBW. It shows that Rin doesn't NEED Shirou to fix her, she can resolve her problems on her own; but he sure is an incredibly positive influence on her. Either way, Shirou benifits MASSIVELY from his relationship with Rin as a character, but he still has other characters to bounce off of to flesh him out.

Thus, Rin would have to be massively rewritten to work as a protagonist; first by making her inner conflict more potent and interesting on its own without having to intermingle with Shirou's as much, and secondly by introducing more characters that can work as a foil to her. I imagine if she were the protag a lot more Zerofags and women would be fans of FSN however.

Just finished Fate the other day, I can see why the series gained its popularity. It's not half bad. I accidentally overwrote the folder I had Realta Nua in when I was doing something else, though. The save files are all gone.

For a teacup it looks bad, it is done in the same way a shitty promotional coffee mug is. An uninspiring monochromatic print over a plain cup. Tbh, for something with a wide commercial scope it would end up like this, I had too much copium.
But if you take a look at the tea sets in the game they are so well portrayed and show that research went into them. Pic related is a teacup from the same manufacturer as Aoko's. There is a company that regularly orders tea sets similar to these and imports them to Japan, I couldn't find when it started, but it is really not unbelieveable that she would have one. As for Alice's white set which shows up (although it is menioned she has more than one), it is very british, being very intricate in format while being all one colour, contrasting with Aoko's french 1800's style.
But yeah, both the format and the coulours are awfully uninspiring, all while the design of the print literally has two copyright marks, ffs. I expected better.

This "Sèvres" blue hue is very special and the result of three coats off cobalt blue paint being applied to the teacup, it's what gives it this "cloudy" look. Nothing short of perfect. Also, the gold is actual gold and handpainted.
It was Mahoyo which led me down the teaware rabithole. I thought that this cloudy effect on a cup was but the artist's creativity, not something feasible.
