Gensokyo is a malleable concept, with fantasy forgotten at its core. Touhou is a entity held by the creativity of its consumers, taking the world ZUN had built and molding it in their own.

Touhou is run by fans. Through the fans, it lives. It was how ZUN made it. And when the fans go, Touhou will go.
