Very late, but finally finished Tenshi Re-boot. Great game overall, excellent moege. It may just be recency bias talking, but I think it's a serious contender for Yuzusoft's best game. You rarely see a game with this many heroines where they're all fantastic and there's no losers. I do have a bunch of minor criticisms - I wish Slay got a bit more focus in Kurumi's route, I don't like Kaguya moving to the other world and only coming back to fuck MC on weekends, a lot of the drama ends shockingly fast (I'm looking at you Kaguya and Noa's routes), I wish Clavi was around a bit more he's a fun antagonist/bro character, and as always the side heroines deserved real routes, but they're petty quibbles. This is what moege should be. At one point I was tearing up a bit while reading it, not because I was sad, but because of the beauty of the artistic acheivement, like when you see a marble statue and realize it's the work of a master who spent decades honing his craft. Great VN. And incredible h-scenes, they really stepped up their game.

Frankly I don't really consider first two chapters to be that bad, at least they are definitely better than Rin route. They set up the basis for the rest of the story simply because most of Naoya's life after that is reflecting on what transpired in those moments (living one's youth so to speak). Yeah, it's not exactly masterful storytelling but necessary. And to note there are still great moments, hell my favourite scene from the whole game is when you meet Ai at the very end of first chapter. It's super short like two minutes but first true taste of what is this story going to become. And I think right after that is that Rina/Yuumi poolside scene, also one of the best.

Riddle doesn't feel long at all so they did a pretty good job. Maybe it's because the game in certain routes has a lot of really small and quickly read scenes. Hazuki's route has like 10+ chapters, if I remember right, and it still flows relatively well because a number of them are literally just one scene and then you get a time cut in the next scene.
