So for every murder there needs to be a motive, an opportunity to commit the murder and evidence.

I think the few of us trying to work out the mastermind would benefit if we determined the greatest possible motives for each character.

If you assume that Kumasawa is Virgilia (The original Beatrice who gave Kinzo his gold etc), then Jessica must be Beatrice.

EP 3 begins with a past scene where we are led to believe that the viewpoint character is Jessica, interacting with Beatrice. Then, it is in fact revealed that "Beatrice" is the previous Beatrice -Virgilia-, and that we were mislead, and this has nothing to do with the story: set presumably hundreds of years ago and we then basically forget about it.

That is ridiculous. Beatrice is a representation of someone on the island. That scene took place years ago, but it was about one of the characters that live on the island: Kumasawa was there, there is a mansion, and the viewpoint character refers to her Grandfather. Jessica is Beatrice.

She's probably not the culprit behind the murders, but she is Beatrice.

>> No.4593229

That's stupid.
Here is a better candidate: Shannon.
Came on the island when she was 6.
Kumasawa basically raised her and Kanon, Kanon even say in episode 6 that she is like a mother to him.
Jessica already has parents and Natsuhi probably raised her closely given her personality. We aren't given any hints that Jessica was close to Kumasawa or Kinzo

>> No.4593565

>>4593229

No, that's you that it, you're stupid.
