what would you do if you have a time machine?
i draw what i would do

20xx means the date of the "present", not the target date

I don't think sakuya can go back in time.

Anyway, go to the future or the past and warn myself of what to do or get myself to tell myself what to do.

Also, Go into the future far enough that Gundam, Bullet Curtain games, or Cybernetics are common place.

But wait, if I traveled back in time, wouldn't my memory of the future be erased?

>> No.5764071

No, because the memories are travelling with you. They are in your brain, man.

>> No.5764097

Arguably, the memories are the ONLY thing that travels.
Anon has neither his body nor his Time Sakuya in the past

>> No.5764109

>>5764097

Then he's just transfering his current self into his past self's body?

That's not the time travel I know of.

>> No.5764120

>>5764097

It depends how the time machine is freaking designed.

This is even ignoring the fact that to physically go back in time, you'd need to calibrate according to the Earth's orbit and stuff to make sure you end up in the same location even though it's going round the sun at 30 miles per second.

>> No.5764129

You guys sure are boring. You mean none of you would like to be a gundam pilot in space flying around shootan stuff?

Or a pilot flying around dodgin bullets and shootan stuff?

Or inside a visual embodiment net, Running around, coding stuff?

>> No.5764135

If your body gets younger, your brain does too

So, the memories would be erased.

>> No.5764139

>>5764097
But if the entire unity known as you is the one traveling through time, shouldn't you be immune to aging? For example, I don't think your body would simply stop existing if you traveled 1000 years to the future.

>> No.5764150

The temptation to go back in time with modern technology and either
-Bring about the enlightenment era about three millenia early
-Troll around and pretend to be a miracle-making son of god
is immense.

>> No.5764165

Forget about the "time travel" thing

Let's say you wake up, and all your life since you were 8 years old was just a dream.

You are a kid again.

>> No.5764174

>>5764135

Why would your body get younger if you go back in time?
Of all possible takes on time travel, this one is the least feasible.
I mean, it's already hard enough sending physical bodies back in time, but it could technically be done with wormholes and stuff, but you're talking about simply sending an intangible consciousness back in time, something we can't extract, and even if we could, how the heck would we target it to your past self?
The very fact it could be extracted would also imply the consciousness has some sort of physical center in the brain where it's based.
