Don't get me wrong. Kizuato was, and is, popular enough, for an eroge. Enough to warrant at least 2 remakes and a manga (last I heard). Kizuato surpassed Tsukihime in graphics, music and plot. Yet, for some reason, TH was glorified due to its bad art and repetitive music.

I think he admitted himself what he was influenced by, and I don't think japanese players are not aware of this. It's just people found out Tsukihime as their first translated novel that think it's 100% original do not steal.

No, it's the equivalent of an amateur work.

Which it was, a highly sucessful one that let them become professionals, but amatur none the less.

Also, Tsukihime's themes, which tie into the themes of Nasu's writings as a whole, had already started to be built up in his previous writings. Unless you're going to call Kara no Kyoukai a ripoff of anything,.

Nasu's style is my favorite VN writer, the most interesting. That or Takajun translates really well, but I loved FSN and tsukihime.

No, he decides that it's pretty frightening and decides never to use it.

Pretty much anyone that could be considered an enemy (with the exception of Akiha) doesn't consider him a tangible threat at all until it's far too late, and the only reason he's tracked at all is as a secondary concern to finding Arcueid.

He's not popular. Only one normal person considers him a friend. Everyone else feels like they're in the presence of death around him. Not a popular trait in Japanese society.

Roa knows who he is the whole time, and SHIKI is just fucking insane. If you consider Akiha a rival, she knows who he is and the practical application of his skills since the beginning. She, above all people, knows what the Nanaya clan did.
