Well, I'm pretty much finished with my Tesladonna on the JP version. Just need some Cosmo Harmonics/Slot Protectors for tuning up and a Cosmo Regret Omega for that cemented arm slot.

Nah, they have UC/RT conversion events, from which I've got 150+ RT so far (others have more, I don't play much). Hence two garapons and buying Izuna Kamuy.

Got an Aquila MkII from the other garapon. I'm waiting for a bazaar event so that I can either sell it for a decent price (at least 60RT seems reasonable) or give it away to another Anonymous.

The only difference between alpha and omega ones is that the omega ones give you back materials used for the tuneup.

Use Raystag head and Izuna booster, both home and are very good weapons. You'll run out of ammo very fast, though.

I have only 80 Rt from the event to spend and no tune up items to tune up jack shit. The only time I did any good in ranking was when I was still a newbie circle and could play in the newbie arena. Now I have to be incredibly lucky.

Hope we get the racetrack level in the english server. It's fun as hell.

Well, what I did was garapon with my first 50RT (daily/weekly garapon is usually good due to low risk of blue, they also give extra items with the robots. I went for SP, though. ) and then acting accordingly depending on the robot/item I got. I got Tesladonna (S AIR), so I went for Izuna booster and tuned up Wing Plus AMJs (both tune up items and WP AMJs come from the UC garapon. I now have like 8 of the latter, so failing tune up is no big deal. I sold the Bigmantes parts I didn't need to buy the tune-up items. )

Had I gotten LND, I would've tried for Short Boost/Quick Land and a bazooka. Garapon ART usually has good enough inbuilt weapons to get them going, and for Support it'd depend on what I got, SP has Winberyl Ellen so I would've tried dual bazooka + drawgun, which I've seen used to terrifying efficiency (once you get caught, you aren't getting out. )

If I got a weapon (that's why Daily/Weekly is good, their weapons are usually nice) I'd have gotten a robot that can use the weapon (L ART for Titan Bazooka, LND for Combination Dagger etc. ) and collect money for another Garapon until I got my little girl robot.

Well I felt reckless today and rolled away my 50rt for this.

I think I prefer Japanese CB now over the US counterpart. I was in a 6x6 shuffle match today and my side was storming the opposite team. Even though the power spot was right there nobody shot it.

Then later someone killed me while I was repairing my teammates and APOLOGIZED about it!

Sure they have no mercy about camping your spawn point but at least there you can hopefully run away or build up a counter defense.

I like how good their ART is, not even Shaden booster is a viable tactic. In English CB I could fly hoops around 5-6 ARTs and their entourage with utter impunity using a M AIR. Trying that in Japanese CB gets you a faceful of missile.

AIR has its flight cut, if you fall you take 50 damage every few ticks until you find the portal to get back up. Since the level itself moves, everybody gets stranded, slower attacks (psyguns, homing wisps etc. ) don't work because people can outrun them out of their range, there are objects you need to avoid or take damage (think Meta Cactus, didn't pay attention to what they were called. )

Melee LND, laser AIR and straight shooting ART (think railguns etc. ) shine there. Don't bring an Escarbot, Psycho Formula or Lily Rain if you don't fancy a swift demise

I left jp CB when the mini beta started and never went back. You guys are making me want to play it again. Stop that.

Are you on English or Japanese server?

If JP, Bazooka/Short Boost/Quick Land, unless you' have a Jikun, in which case double shield melee.

If English, go nuts, you can get 40STR/40WLK easily and have access to Ivis.

Ripper Scythe AIR is a surprisingly good meleer, too. Enjoy dealing 120 damage per shot to ART as an AIR.

Get float dash and boost tune (quick boost was it?) and have high fly though.
Why?
Because flying is faster than walking/running, and you'll never outrun a land bot.

TEC is secondary. Some TGH is also nice.

Her booster is a very good weapon for AIR types since it homes and has huge range, so in stages where you can get higher ground (Green Field, Relic Towers, Sand Cliff, Damp Under, whatever that cave stage with far-off powerspots with whirlwind access was called etc. ) you can fly high above and take shots at occupied units (especially stationary ART that haven't noticed you since that's a guaranteed hit. )

Flanking is necessary because Japanese ART is vicious. Also, does Izuna have Broad Radar? If so, get some fire pillars and bomb healing people on powerspot. That's a favorite trick of mine, I once got 4500 support as an AIR doing nothing but that for the whole game.

I was under the impression firebombs don't really "drop down" if you're flying and trying to do a bombing run, but that they activate just where your character is.

Usually I have to drop down low to the PS where the enemy is healing up and w/e but that can be very risky.

The thing with Lily's core psygun is that like all psyguns it's slow. When I'm playing Lily, I fly into people's faces on purpose (use the current RT Garapon to get an extra 4-10 FLY using slotted Wing Plus AMJs, you'll get a lot so you can afford tune up failures. ) so that they'll actually hit.

Combos well, but more hit-and-run than Ivis. Dash in with Boost Run, get rid of an ART or two, get the fuck out. Unlike Ivis, you do get stunned, so it's wise to play safe.

Keep in mind you will need to tune them up. Not a bad idea to get a few spares.

Normally Wing Plus is a bad idea because it's only +2 FLY for 30 Cost, but since this is the JP server and tune ups are risky, they're actually pretty handy.
