Opposite... my high school friends ended up being pretty weeaboo by graduation, but now almost 4 1/2 years later I'm here while they all turned into normalfags. Aside from one who is going for his English teaching credential none of them are that successfu/have any big prospects either (I'm almost done with school, but went to a way better school than any of them).

I suspect that level of normalfaggotry is directly correlated to insecurity about being called a loser.. if you don't have a job that makes people go "wow cool" when you describe it, you try to compensate for everything else in your life to try to seem better than you are, and you're very careful to try to keep in line with mainstream shit so that people don't take a second look/thought about you, because they are hoping that you don't carefully analyze them and deduce that they are just another idiot pretty much doomed to mediocrity.

Of course some people take the opposite approach and try to seem as different as possible from the norm in the hopes that their different-ness will impress you enough to overlook their fucking terrible job or education.. I'm talking goths etc.

Either way, all I can say is "fucking normals". I spit on them all.
