I'm quite familiar with opinons. I've browsed a many board before settling on /jp/. Although I doubt /mu/ could be in any way as close of a shitfest as /v/ on opinions.

There are a few redeeming qualities.

Although the poster quality has decreased, /mu/ still talks about music, and knows music just as well. I digress the atmosphere has gone down, but there is still a lot of great music to be had, which is why /mu/ survives.

Native. Actually the only time boards every visit is for recommendations. They usually go very well. The only raids we get these days are of Beebs, who is disregarded. No one remotely cares, so the raids tend to dies quickly.

You know how we have different radio stations that play different genres of music? I was trying to get a feel for Japan's equivalent of that, and wanted to know if anybody had any sources for it.

Most Japanese music tends to be inferior derivatives of superior western music. The only genre Japan has ever excelled at and pioneered is arguably not even music: noise.
