This isn't really relevant but I wasn't sure where I could ask something like this.

I wanted to get back into the piano but even so I'm too scared to start practising because I know full well the neighbours are capable of hearing it. Not only this, but occasionally my sister will stay over and practice the piano and my father and I have had complaints in the mail and it seems there's no particular time that people will accept piano playing. Is there anything I can do about this?

No, I am discussing something stupid and related to manga, which belong to the anime manga board know as /A/, since it's specifically made for anime and manga.

Honestly I'm all over the place with how and where I upload things too. However the story is completely done, coding/scripting is completely done, most of the character design is done, it's just a waiting game for my artist to get me character models w/ expressions. But they'll get me the few more I need to finish about a 30 - 40 minute long playable demo in the next two weeks, then I'll be posting it up on /jp/ for you all to chew apart.

It's actually a new artist. My old one graduated from college and was far too busy to help out anymore (Which is why the project stalled for many many months, and we're totally done programming/scripting it). The new artist is 17 years old, so I got one year to squeeze all the art out of him as possible.

Buy a general book about drawing. There are things like shading and two and three point perspective drawing that have very rigid rules and aren't at all intuitive if you intend to do them well. Those things are learned, not inate.

Our background artist is also our musician, however I told him to focus entirely on backgrounds up until our Chapter 1 release on Christmas. Right now we have about 4-5 recycled tracks we're using, but nothing original.

If you would like to add your talent, we'd love to have you do some work for us. The stuff we got right now is really "powerful" and not suited for most of the dialog, so we'd be looking for mild background tracks.

If you want to really stretch your wings we could also use something for the title screen.

I might do more decensoring in the future. I want to learn to draw ero better myself, and decensoring is a nice way of studying genitalia, fluids and such. I recommend this to any other aspiring ero artists out there, it's a lot of fun!
