Rin/Yuugi vs. Ran/Chen was actually decent, I'll grant.

Remilia/Reimu vs. Reisen/Youmu was ten kinds of fucked up. No-selling everywhere, the sequence leading up to the pin and the pin itself were utterly retarded, and the wrong team won.

Sanae/Suwako vs. Yuuka/Cirno was pretty much the same, except twice the no-selling and I don't even remember the pin sequence anymore because I was so aggravated at that point. Hell, I couldn't even tell you who was in the fourth first round match without looking it up.

Booking: Since it's no secret that wrestling is scripted, "booking" is the term used to describe the results of matches. Someone is "booked" to win or lose, and in a specific way at that (very close match vs. utter domination, the latter of which is called a "squash" (or "burial" if the loser is a notably good wrestler)).

Sell: To act as if you were actually hit/hurt by an opponent's attacks. Let's say one wrestler punched another in the jaw (except not really because that's how wrestling works). The punched wrestler would "sell" the shot by grabbing their jaw and stumbling backward and crying out in pain, or maybe by just going stiff and flopping straight to the ground. A "no-sell" would be if the wrestler didn't react at all, or just kinda shrugged it off and went back on the offensive. I recall a good example of this being Sanae all but ignoring the massive amount of damage Yuuka did to her arm after very little time had passed in the match.

Ring work: The physical and psychological effort the wrestlers put into the match. Someone who is very fluid and athletic, doesn't make very many performance mistakes, and sells very well is considered a good ring worker. Someone that is very stiff and botches and no-sells a lot is not a good ring worker.

The next fight you're forgetting was Kaguya/Eirin vs Mokou/Keine, which was far and away in it's own league of bullshit, though I still enjoyed it.
It's gotten a little better, I'd say. If the first few fights aggravated you as much as you're letting on, though, you probably shouldn't bother.

Also have to note that the outcome of Sanae/Suwako vs Yuuka/Cirno was totally justified.

I see. That goes a bit against the usual yatagarasu lore, which would have her having been around in some form since the vaguely defined mythical prehistory.

But then again, yatagarasu lore is quite limited and never really states whether the entire race is ancient, or if there are younger individuals born since.

On a side note, it's possible that Okuu's apparent age is hard or impossible to approximate even for herself, since birds and mammals perceive time differently.
