It's going on sale 4-5 hours from now, right?

I'm interested in the characters and story, but the gameplay from the trial was stupid and boring as fuck to me. Is there any way to skip it and just get to the story, or should I just stick with other visual novels?

I am buying it considering it is a long game and it is only $50. I may wait for the unofficial voice patch before I buy it though.
It bothers me to support this after so many delays and retarded decisions though, to see the overall quality of the thing before buying it may be another option considering previous releases shaky grammar and translations

I didn't/won't/don't know how to make the patch, I just said I have the original KM ready for when somebody makes the patch.

Trial voice patch had all the voice files packed together, but I doubt whoever did that is going to make 1.8Gb patch for the final version. At best, he might upload patched .snx files, and give instructions on how to extract sound files (hint:crass).

Shin Koihime is a whole new retake of the story. It has 3 main routes, one for each country, which one having different tones. (Comedy for Shoku, a kind depressing storyline for Go, and Real Deal for Gi) Each route has its main heroin.

Hmm seems i can insert the Trial scripts i have with voice enabled and they work. but it only covers the trial section.

/sigh i managed to get the original trial working using a small file some1 gave me here and inserting the English scripts into the Japanese engine. worked OK but had bad word warping and random pausing.

I lost that file and cant find it now and the Japanese engine don't work in windows 7 guess i cant just randomly get this to work will have to wait till some1 who knows what they are doing to release a patch.

I managed to get the voices for the opening part (what was in the trial) and the DRM doesn't seem to mind. I still have to play through the entire trial part to be sure nothing is amiss.

Basically, just drop the .snx files from the trial patch into the game directory and replace the SoundPackSEVo and SoundPackSEVo.lst files from the MG version with the ones found on the CD2 of the original Japanese version.

-Does Shin Koihime continue from were Koihime ended(Not that I know how Koihime ends).
-Does the battles get a bit more non-repetitive like it was in the demo? Since the never changed formation so did you never had to change either, etc.

Because of that it'd be near impossible to match 'english line' -> 'voice file name' with a script, so it has to be done manually. I'm not sure how much work that'll be.
