In Reimu's article, when it talks about the vampire incident, it refers back to the same incident. Refer to >>7252166. The only vampire Reimu fought was Remilia. Reimu had nothing to do with the first vampire incident.

There are only two vampire-related incidents that we know about. First one was a rebellion put down by a powerful youkai. The second was the Scarlet Mist that Reimu put an end to using the spell card rules.

Like I said before, I believe the main problem was the translation in Reimu's article which makes it sounds like she put the vampire rebellion when she didn't.

I'm talking about Rumia specifically.
Rumia's PMiSS article explicitely states she eats people. In the present tense.
BAiJR includes interviews, which are literal quotes from the youkai. In the interview, Rumia outright states she doesn't want to attack people (using roughly the words I put in apostrophes).

It didn't say they went into conflict with Reimu. They went into discussions. Remember that the vampire had gathered a lot of subordinates. Not all of them would be vampires, so they were mostly various youkai. When the vampire was bind to a contract, the youkai found that contract unpleasant and went to the Hakurei miko to discuss the situation.

I'm sure that powerful youkai would have stomped them if they tried anything against said youkai.

Half of the cast talks about eating others, including the heroines. In Rumia's case, it's not even a threat, it's a response to Reimu's speciecist remark.

We know they're just talking trash. We know because of PMiSS, among others. Why are you disregarding parts of PMiSS to prove that PMiSS is to be read literally? It makes no fucking sense.

I know about the whole trash-talking, but youkai still eat people, even if it's rare, so it doesn't interfere with PMiSS' depiction of Rumia. BAiJR's is an interview of opinions, PMiSS is a list of seen facts. Note the difference?

Okay, I know I'm now being a hypocrite, but you seriously must be trolling me.

BAiJR (the interview parts) contains a transcription of what the youkai said, to the letter. It is to be taken literally. (Which, of course, does not mean they did not say lies, and it's quite obvious in some cases (Mokou, Marisa), but the fact that they said what they said is solid and indisputable.)

PMiSS is... well, "a little different from reality", as confirmed in several different places throughout the canon. It is NOT to be taken literally (or rather, it is to be taken as a literal contents of Gensokyo Chronicle, which are written by self-admitted unreliable narrator Akyuu).

You got things completely backwards, and it seems you did not even read BAiJR at all.
