Lots of going back and forth, gameplay suck, story is paper thin and most of the scenes that should have been fleshed out are reduced to like 5 second of time.
To give an example Shizuka who is an important character only has like 10 lines simply because the game flashforward all her story, most of the game is like this.

The Rance series only start to get good with the third game, don't play this one unless you like to waste time grinding for nothing

nevermind, i found a way out.
After you receive the mirror
go all the way back, go to the top and after being teleported to the ingestines, you come across and 4 panel area with 2 levers. it wasn't there before. You only need to activate the mirror if it tells you to.

Does Machiko have an H-scene? I'm aware that come chapter 6 she tells you to go get some impossible item just to get you to go away. Is this item actually in the game just to screw with her or is it totally impossible?

Also for (legally) getting the Money for the stuff at the S&M Store in chapter 6, your best bet is to waste a lot of time killing mimics in chapter 4(you could do it in Chapter 2 as well, but you'll just have Rance and Maria). They drop 1000XP and 1000G each, so you'll also be able to make good progress on getting Rance to 40 for Willis' H-Scene.

yeah i've run it with admin rights and without, i got it from the alicesoft2010 pack.
one thing i am noticing when i look at the forum instructions on the translation site, theres a picture guide to show what your folder should look like, my install seems to be missing a 135kb file.
i've tried re-installing twice now and its still missing, i just get the feeling im doomed to not play the damn thing

I had the same problem and was wondering what was going on since I thought the patch only had 2 files, but it turns out I had to leave it for a couple minutes for it to start patching the rest of it.

The patch.bat will automatically close and delete itself when it is finished

The way I see so far, Rance just seems overzealously diligent in fucking women he wants.
He'll gladly jump through hoops, grind for misc crap and walk on lava floor to get his fuck.
If the target is willing, then "gahahaha good!", Rance apparently enjoys having his partner feel good too although that's optional.
Those who aren't willing are gonna get raped. (this here is where Rance would possibly resort to any means necessary to get his fuck, such as trickery/drug/blackmail/threats)

Actually, Rance has forfeited sex when the women have had lovers or husbands (he can't kill because the woman would be overly sad, makes him unbelievably guilty) as well as when the women have threatened to kill themselves. Look at Rance 02. You had to pay a woman 500 gold for sex. Then when she got back with her lover, you couldn't fuck her anymore because Rance just backs off. I mean, he couldn't even bring himself to fuck a mindbroken Elizabeth in Rance 6, a woman he chased throughout the game, when he finally had her in his grasp. He instead played dollie with her because she regressed into a child's way of thinking after her former rebel allies turned their backs on their "struggle" and gangbanged her. It wasn't even the gangbang that broke her, it was her allies telling her that their struggle was all a joke and shit now. And Rance couldn't even fuck her when he finally captured her.

Rance is a bit more complicated than just going to fuck women no matter what even if he looks that way.

Mirror gets you killed, going to camp gets you killed.
Going in any direction is fine. Going to statue room is ok, but picking an option gets you killed.
Returning to the trap with boulder just does it again, and you still gotta run.

What else am I missing here?
