Recently played Yume Muri.
Play Shiriaki's route, and suddenly Soprano ending out of no where.

Makes me almost not want to play the other routes.

I think Saya had a good idea of what was happening from early on. It was a long time ago I played it, but the early H-part of her route was more along the lines of "I'll let you do this stuff to me so that you don't lay your hands on Aya". And then she picked up your mail ordered box full of sex toys, and it all went south from there.
Now, I only got a 100% patch to see Aya's scenes without playing her route, but it looked a little bit more exploitative. I finished Eustia recently, really liked it.

You can't seem to read so I spell it out for you again. Lucius up until that point had established himself to be untrustworthy but Caim got handed the idiot ball so that point got a free pass. I'm not trying to be pithy, but unless the installer is asking you to input a serial code or do complex installation choices, the majority of installers are install location, desktop/quick bar settings, and confirmation. The N and P buttons are usually labeled as such.

If you really feel like you can't figure it out by context, use Translation Aggregator and hook into the installer. Figure out what each section is saying, then close the installer. Use the installer without hooking in to do the final install, so there's no issues.

TA is good about actively translating standardized Windows installs. Customized installers are rare.

Currently playing Hoshizora no Memoria, playing this partially translated VN makes me long for Komomo; whose route is untranslated. I want to learn Japanese but hearing the amount of time required to learn it leaves me unmotivated.

Is it actually worth my while to finish Air? I read Misuzu's and Minagi's routes and despite it supposedly being a nakige, the only tears I've shed so far were of boredom. And I say this as someone who thoroughly enjoyed Clannad and, to a lesser extent, Kanon. Does it get better?

In every game I have a saving system to make sure I get all the routes and repeat scenes I like.
The way it works is always different with each game so whenever I drop a game for a few months and then pick it up it looks like I did some voodoo, not knowing if my most recent save is for route X or if I am trying to get a bad end.

Yes, there should be the option to stop skip on phonecalls. Honestly the worst thing about getting the true end (after Mayuri's, in my case) was that the game kept crashing randomly while skipping. This was back when the PC version originally came out, so I'd think/hope it's fixed by now. In any case, not getting the true end would be pretty dumb IMO.

Goddamn. Short-time lurker here; you guys told me there wasn't much graphical violence and gore in Kara no Shoujo and here I am, having had to go through all the routes and experience amputations and missing limbs everywhere. I told you I'm somewhat sensitive towards that stuff.

Anyways, those were some pleasant playthroughs. I read there's a somewhat long artbook bundled to the third drama CD and I'm now off to trying to acquire it.
Too bad there isn't a translated version floating around somewhere...

Decided to play Big Bang Age. Confusing as all heck to start with but pretty fun now I've started getting how it works. Is there any point to leveling up Gou? Takes tons of XP to do so and his stats suck, so I'm not sure wether it's worth the effort.

I don't think it's obnoxious. It actually feels kind of realistic given Kouhei's background story and it also helps him develops a bit. He got pretty manly once he's determined. But I think the same could be said about the anime. The two really feel pretty much the same for me (for this part). So I guess the people finding him obnoxious are just not reading/watching what's made for them.

Do so. Dies Irae is great. Albeit like a more mature Fate//Stay Night. Just, make sure that you stick with it, the intro scene before Ren makes his contract with Marie (and gets his Holy Relic/Guillotine Arm) is pretty slow, and Dies Irae is a long game. The best route is the last, etc.

It's really easy to see why KKK is worth getting pumped about. Sure it's not going to be game of the year, neither was Dies Irae, but it's bound to be fucking awesome like it's predecessors. (If it's finished when they release it)

Having posted something along the line of "I think I'm near the end" two days ago, I've finally completed Muramasa after approximately 12 more hours of reading. it Was partially due to making some wrong selections for getting Sayo's scene, so I wasted like 30 minutes in skipping.
Mueamasa's route has an unadulterated concentration of awesome, and the epilogue gave me warm and fuzzy feeling right up to where Sorimachi showed out of fucking nowhere. I wish there was a route where Kageaki just runs away from reality and lives in hiding with Muramasa but that wouldn't really have made an interesting ending.

Anyways, a one sentence review for anyone who can/care to read untranslated VNs and haven't read Muramasa yet: the VN has one of the best protagonist ever, with an amazing cast of main heroines and side characters, it has an atmosphere which sucks the reader in, the writing sometimes gets unexpectedly hilarious, and all this is topped with some of the very best selection of music and nice art.

not necessary, the reasons I like most of those scenes are because what they do to characters and how they represent them. for quick explanation why I like those scenes so much: the contracting scene I like so much because how Kageaki was forced to contract due to situation altough his whole self was screaming don't do it, and imiadely giving reason to it, the exceciution of the scene was suberb imo. Sorimachi scene because of how Sorimachi sees Kageaki and confronts him with it and Kageakis response. and fight with Kanae because she comes realization that she's just "tool" of revenge and how it is represented in it.

"Re:Blade Arts" adds to the original story: Kageaki fucks Subaru, and Hikaru is possibly their child. (Did I miss this implication or it being stated in the original?)
"FMD VILLAGE of dear Kanae" is pretty short and the h-scene for Hino was way too damn short.
Lastly, the "animated" manga is decent as well. (Image related and it's not really a spoiler)

Overall, it's worth a read.

I took a while but thanks to the guy who told me to play Hounan's route, such a great character. My only beef is that it branches off Touko's route after they get together, so Hounan's ending with Soushichi means she gets the short end of the stick and it just felt bad. Just finished it myself, I had no problems with the end I like to think that it was Toko Shinji gave away in the train to the boy and that she was free. Her painting made me tear up, much more beautiful than Kara no Shoujo imho and really spoke her mind about what she wanted. Reiji also was able to put to rest a lot of his memories and failures; I think he will change for the better
I liked Reiji and some of the cast. There were some that were too eroge-ish (Yukari, Natsume, Hatsune, Stella) but I liked the rest like Kyoko, Toko, Uozumi, Orihime etc. I also liked the first set of murders more as it felt more like a mystery than the second one which felt more like throw everything at us for shock value and depression.
The thing I could have done without is the daily point where you pick two places to go when not picking one leaves out in the dark (Stella's pendant of her sister comes to mind).
