If fish were that smart and long lived i would not be able to eat them.

Why is lifespan even part of the question?
Fish already have comparable lifespans to humans anyway, or sometimes way longer.

If fish had the same intelligence and life span as humans, then I'm sure they would most definitely do something about humans polluting the ocean... I think they could easily wipe us human off of the planet since they have such large numbers.
