What was really great was the cutscene videos from "Xenosaga I" were all saved out by the Onegai Subs group. Some of those cutscenes were individually long enough to be OVA's intheir own right. The long as well as short cutscenes were edited and combined with some in-game footage in order to insure the plot and storyline was contiguous. It was put up on bakabt but got removed when people complained it was game cutscenes; even though it was clearly anime related. The cutscenes were more complete story-wise, nicer-looking, and much longer than the officially released TV anime series.

Episode II gameplay came about as a result of listening to the Episode I buyers complain about having "too much cutscene time" and desires of having "more gameplay" needed.

The customers got what they wanted. Maybe they should not have complained so loudly. It's an example of why not listening to customer complaints may be the best approach especially if the complaints are coming from a highly organized minority trying to shove their trolling opinions in.

At least Episode II gave us that "swimsuit mode" where you could get their clothing swapped out for swimwear. I would have been happy to see 98% cutscenes and 2% gameplay.

I didn't have that many problems myself. I also didn't had that many problems with the final Boss. But it did strike me very funny how those regular trained soldier could be such pests. The only way I could beat them was by killing one of them as fast as I could. I had to pray they didn't get lucky with their initiative.

Well you can only encounter them in one level of the whole game.

iirc, there was extra stuff that covered the missing parts that only came out in Japan, and we were stuck with just the summary that came with XS3. And there was also some cell phone game that was about Ziggy before he became a cyborg.

>>8327216
I read a bunch of reviews before I bought XS2 and it was hilarious how many people cried about the gameplay being too hard. Everyone saying the only way to win was stocking to 3 before doing anything every battle, etc. I never had much problem with it. Only thing that pissed me off was the mecha battles because there wasn't as much you could do to make things easier on yourself (other than leveling more). And of the 3 optional bosses, the mecha battle one would crash my game anyway, wasting all the time I put into trying to beat it.

The game in general wasn't that difficult, it was just unusual.

But the encounter I'm talking about was made it so the enemies by acting first could boost each other almost indefinitely, and in a few occasions they wiped my party before I could even make a move!

You can't even call "difficult" something where you automatically lose. Xenosaga Ep II's battle system was that retarded.

Ep III especially, it had such a good dungeon design, with good short dungeons with puzzles and a good, fast paced BS that required some strategy (also, E.S. battle were awesome indeed)

Unlikable yes, but decently writing.

Yes, they were purposely writing a bitch.

>However, within relationships to others, it is the case that this kind of
personality goes too far, endlessly searching for new stimulus. Shion is of
this type of condition. The more they act and the more they search, the more
they become unable to be satisfied. In very serious times, they are convinced
that they have been "robbed", and even become as if greedily wanting
everything.

>At an unhealthy state such as this, they become self-centered, and in order to
satisfy their own desires, they may even make violent demands from others.

Plus, at least Shion had excuses since her life was kinda shit-tier, unlike many male rpg faggots that get a free pass because they have a penis

Anyone here played Super Robot wars endless frontier exceed or whatever? Does KOS MOS say anything about New Jerusalem or Shion? What about Momo?
I'm not going to play a entire game (much less something untranslated) just for a cameo
