Had one friend who I could talk about Touhou with at college. He sucked but had been playing a lot longer than me (or so he claimed) Some autistic gay. I don't think you guys would like him because he would never visit /jp/, only /a/, but we often made hypocritical humour of that. To be honest I didn't really like him either, he wasn't very kind. Haven't talked with him in months. I think he blocked me after I graduated and he failed miserably.

My Internet girlfriend goes out drinking sometimes and is pretty normie by /jp/ standards. On the other hand we share a lot of weird fetishes and she's perfectly happy about me being into loli. We got to talking, turns out his favorite Touhou was Parsee, he could play pretty well on normal difficulty but had yet to 1CC a game.

Exchanged numbers after fifteen or so minutes and we haven't talked since.

I ran into a guy who was very good at math and very good at Touhou. He was only into the games but he was extremely good at them.

One of my friends in 10th grade took me aside too meet a bunch of her friends at lunch, took out my phone which has two 2hu charms on it, and one of them (now probably my best irl friend Dan) sprouted up and was like "Holy shit it's Cirno and Patchy"

Back in high school I had a friend who was a weaboo and watched girls bravo or some shit later played world of warcraft and I stoped talking to him.

Also one of my childhood friend was into fanservice haremshit as well as naruto, and he's kind of stupid so I stopped talking to him 2 years ago. Should've done that sooner, he's a fucking animal with no manners, he's a redhead and he stinks.

Whenever I meet people who share my "interests", I quickly realize that all my interests are fleeting and my knowledge is shallow, and I have nothing to discuss at depth.

While he was too "young" to have been around for Endless Eight, Gurren Lagann vs. Lucky Star threads, or Geass Sundays, it was still very nice to meet someone with similar interests. Initially, he was interested in /jp/ -- particularly Touhou -- but after I played a few levels of EoSD in front of him, he gave up on that idea for some reason.
