Honestly feel its the other way around; it was a purely physical problem, not mental. The MC is a such a blank slate, even more than usual due to the amount of PoV shifts and what not for the heroine, the game constantly switching to her thoughts (voiced).

Yeah the guy did dropout of school because of his succubus induced ED that affected his first attempt at sex, but is that what this healing is referring. The game is certainly not long enough to flesh him out as it heavily focuses on the heroine.

Going by past releases I suspect we'll see Yuuri to Marin around September-October.

Holy shit it's like all noaya dicksucking from uta condensing into one chapter but with noaya doing absolutely nothing this time. As usual sca-jizz SoL scenes are garbage(sakurako caught kusanagi-sama with his onaho! Le funny eroge hijinks ensue! ) and all those art hoes are spectacularly boring with not much personality outside of lusting after noaya.
At least we got kei and naoya's brief flashback, because that entire chapter in uta fell apart for me because their relationship was underdeveloped and kei was just a comic relief "lol you homo" character until that point. Good to know Sca-ji's just being sca-ji with his atrocious writing skills even after all these years.

His shimoneta shtick got really old all the way back during the Tsui no Sora days. But eroge players don't play eroge for the moe, if that were the case they'd just go somewhere else. I'm going to make a really stupid comparison, but no one reads shit like Gravity's Rainbow or Infinite Jest because they have good, immediately relatable and emotionally engrossing character writing, either. I mostly care about how the ideas are expressed competently rather than ideas themselves because almost all the time they aren't anything special. I already knew about him because post linguistic turn humanities/social sciences talk about him now and then, and I have my issues with Sca-ji's reading of him, and I think wittgenstein's only worthwhile work is philosophical investigations. I think the problem lies in how we both use fiction for different purposes, you basically just want writers to introduce you to cool ideas, but for me nothing that comes out of any eroge writer's brain is insightful so I just want decent storytelling/experience. That's why for me Sca-ji's penchant for dumb sex jokes, his lack of talent in writing good characters or interactions or relationship or prose or even so much as bare minimum build up to important events totally poisoned my experience. I'm not saying this is the only way to tell a story. It's just that this is important for whatever sca-ji was trying to do in sakuuta to work out for me.

I do like the exploration of cool ideas, but inherently all fiction, at least to me, is a close exploration of a certain topic as filtered through a purely unique soul (the writer's). These idiosyncrasies bleed everywhere human hands touch, from pornography and 4chan shitposts to high art (also functionally, and oftentimes literally shitposts), and it's in these that I'm interested in. No matter how well-written fiction is it'll be nothing but fiction, after all, and while the language and mind games are engrossing and inherently entertaining to me they're nothing more than an excuse for having a deeply interpersonal talk. That can be of anything from sexy little girl-childs, the wonders of BDSM, the nature of reality or the tragedy of humanity at large.

So yes, this post is really redundant. Sorry about that. I like it all, anyways, I can just appreciate the kind of story and type of writing you clearly despise: the one that doesn't care about the pre-coitus of entertainment rules, the absurd pretension of turning creative writing into a science, and just goes with the vibes. He's engaging in the futile effort of answering unanswerable nonsensical philosophical questions. I don't know if sca-ji is illustrating here how weird it would sound if someone who regained spark in his life is talking about his experience of the problem of life. Maybe he was trying to engage in language-games that later wittgenstein was so fond of but this isn't quite that.

another problem I had with Sakuuta in particular is the only person whose message they forced as "right" was Naoya. you had people like kana and rin that played off of his philosophies but the game never went into depth with them, and kind of forced one message down your throat.

Groups like LHTranslation are consistently behind 5+ chapters on the 30+ series they lay claim to. Only manga with popular anime adaptations are guaranteed fast translations.
