That could be you. Just put everything you don't need into one big garbage bag and throw it away! You don't even need to go through the hassle of sorting out things to be recycled/given away, our landfills are doing good.

I really want to do it, but I have so much stuff... I know my mother would be heartbroken if I threw everything out, and some of the things are supposed to have sentimental value I guess..? If I could just box them up neatly and put them in a closet, that would be a good first step...

Clean what? My room is always clean. I do everything in here, but if it produces any sort of garbage, spill, mess, etc. I just clean that shit immediately. Its not hard. Saves hassle later.
