Literally every thing he said was from a movie or (more rarely) a television show. It was insane. They weren't just children's movies either, a lot of them were classic movies from decades ago (Casablanca, Vertigo, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Godfather). He was about 12. -Hospital simulation. The MC is the head doctor or something I dont know a shit about hospital. He have to assign doctors, nurses and rooms for the patients.
-Cafe simulation. Play as manager, assign shift decide menu prices, deals with troublesome customers etc.
-Cheap apartement simulation. Play as owner, deals with /jp/-like ppl, etc.
The plot can be just typical grandfather/grandmother/father/motr dead and their last will is want him to be the successor despite being a worthless shit. Then he met his workers (doctors, nurses,waitress etc. ) or the apartment resident and their problems, while still struggling to do his job.

Route Beta -- After a sudden crashing sound and a flash in the sky, youkai started disappearing from all over Gensokyo. The sky is growing darker, plants are slowly dying, and the world seems to grow weaker by the second. Route Gamma -- Humans and youkai wake up together in a strange, new world. The world seems a perfect combination of both at first, but they soon find out that the world seems somehow...lifeless. Moreover, the protagonist cannot remember who he is, what his name is, or even whether he is human or youkai.

As the three parties separately research their sides of the incident, they discover that what happened was not just an accident, and that a much grander event is bound to happen...

Three routes plus one true route, the routes seem mostly separate at first but in the end it turns out that everything in each of the routes influenced what happened in the other routes.

I once tried writing a VN set in a music conservatory, but then got writers block and stopped. It was going to have tons of music stereotypes (nerdy woodwind girl, egotistical violin player, low brass who dont give a fuck and are pervs, bro-tier bass player friend of MC, etc.) and your route changes depending on what side groups you join (orchestra, classical quartet, big band, small combo jazz, duets with the loner girl). MC was going to be a piano player (or violin or multi-instrument) so he could fit into whatever group. The good thing is you can find public domain recordings of a lot of orchestral and jazz pieces, so there would definitely be some big performances to build up to and show (and maybe you could help dandere-san overcome her stage fright).
I'd actually be willing to pick this back up if anyone sounds interested.
