I have some books from comiket 78 that smell like pure ass. I'm not sure if they smell this way because of comiket, or because the person I got them from was disgusting, but there's not much I do about it.

I've been told that you can almost see the smell radiating in the bigger halls.

The atmosphere is really hot and smelly, my glasses were constantly fogging up from the heat but none of the merchandise smelled weird, they usually have 10 to 15 doujin out of the box so they usually smell like brand new.

My backpack on the other hand smelled like vomit, my clothes as sweat and my boxers as... I can't even describe the strong smell of balls and ass. My wrist smelled really bad too because I'm always wearing a wristwatch.

Honestly I find I get used to the smell at comiket itself rather quickly, it's not really all that bad after the initial shock. There can be one or two particularly fragrant culprits, and it sucks to get stuck in line near them but the overall experience isn't nearly as bad as the shops in akiba post-comiket. Those absolutely reek, and somehow each one has its own distinctive bouquet.
