Between Final Fantasy XIV and Dota2.
Since I went to ranked ASAP after I got lvl 13, my mmr is sub 2k on dota (abysmally low). Losing 9/10 games because someone on my team decided to abandon or feed and only winning the last one because, finally, someone else from the other team decided to abandon certainly didn't help. I've heard that the calibration matches don't really matter and it's actually how well you did on your earlier matches in Unranked, guess there's no excuse, then. So now I only watch the occasional e-sports match, while trying to convince myself that being a FSH on FFXIV is going to be worth it.

How do I win in DOTA2

I really don't know what I'm supposed to do when I'm in the safe lane and have someone on the opposite side on of the map who is on my team going 0/5 at 10 minutes into the game so their lane opponent goes to my lane and kills me next

These are my most recent games. I do like Morphling like you seem to, but Morphling and Antimage aren't very good heroes if you're solo queuing.

Alot of solo queueing is based around creating a significant gold advantage for yourself, and the easiest way to do that is repeatedly gank or push towers. I would recommend Tiny for ganking and Death Prophet for pushing. Prophet is also a formidable lategame presence in teamfights

Prophet is my favorite hero and one of the best pushers in the game. She can just stand in the middle of a teamfight and deal ridiculous amounts of damage with her ultimate and Crypt Swarm. The thing is she's often focused because of this, but with the ulti up you can just run away and watch them get chipped heavily by the ghosts if they keep chasing.

Heroes like Prophet are kind of boring to me. They're easy, but not braindead easy like a support.

Well I recently discovered Morph and he's really fun to play (at least once you get ethereal blade and another decent item), but I'm pretty bad at farming with him currently because of his weird base damage. He feels pretty hard to do well with though unless your team isn't falling apart without you in the first 20 minutes.

I actually feel like I can farm really well on Anti Mage, I just get extremely unfortunate and have teams that do absolutely fucking horrible at the opposite side of the map.

I should probably just spend time learning a versatile mid character like Storm Spirit or Invoker, I've seen them carry games pretty well, although I guess the problem with that is finding a game where people let you get mid

Well it's not an MMORPG but right now I'm playing BF4. They finally fixed it so it doesn't freeze at the beginning of the match. That being said I'm on an 8 match losing streak at the moment. It's even worse than Dota, because I'm playing with 31 other people on my team and I still lose. It's quite bothersome to have my win-loss ratio messed up with a series of losses.

As for MMORPGs, I'd play FFXIV if they actually hosted the EU servers in Europe. I experienced lag during the OB and decided not to waste my time. In 1.0 I never really had trouble because although the servers were all in Japan, the game had a slower pace so quick reaction wasn't necessary (at least from my experience playing the low levels). I guess I'll see how ESO does once that it's out, but P2P games are generally a turnoff for me.
