Touhou has official mugs, would it be silly to buy one? I guess they arent as special and limited as fumos or figures?

The art is not exactly what I prefer, but I don't want any of those chinese knock offs

I presume that all Touhou products that are on sale on reputable stores have some form of ZUN's approval, and hence are considered official

If there's something you should trust less than the typical 4chan anon is J-List.

Official =/= Approved, fan derivate works aren't official by definition.
The only official merchandise are the printed works and the bonus figures they have from time to time.

I know that "official" can be a misleading word, but what makes merchandise "official" if not the permission to distribute given from the author? How could any character good considered to be official? Would he have to make them himself by hand, heh
