Considering the overall quality, Syarin no Kuni is definitely better than Remember11.
They are both really good but it's really a shame that an eroge as good as Syarin hasn't been translated yet.

I can read almost all of it, so the 1 or 2 things I can't read aren't really that relevant. I have it translated, but I just need to edit the words in. If you're going to translate One Hot Minute at any point (I can find you a link pretty easily on rapidshare if you want, I can't see it mentioned above), I will happily put the text onto the images for you. Hell, I'll even take it out originally if that speeds up the process (although I guess you might need the context of the picture). I'm willing to offer any help that doesn't involve me "knowing japanese", since I know sod all.

Obviously it might be that you won't want to translate it, or at least it's far down the queue, in which case, no worries. Just an offer.

image on the text itself tends to be onomatopoeia (maybe you already know that, but it can't hurt to say), which can often just be left in the japanese unless it's particularly vital. I think it's going to be a matter of style whether you want to translate them or not.

unless you meant "how would I extract that from the text for you to translate", in which case, I'm not sure. I think having the pictures to hand when translating is going to be essential anyway, so maybe it would just be the main blocks that need extracting to make it easier? I'm as new to this whole thing as you are, really. Just wanted to help.
