News:
-Spring 2016 Event has started and will end on May 31. It is a 7 map event split into 3 parts: Initial, Expansion and Final Operations.
-Debuff nodes for E-6 confirmed to be L/A/G and node I on E-5.
-Unintended stats gains on new ships and Pola not being able to equip seaplane fighters have been fixed. Oyashio also has an increased drop rate.
-Land based planes not doing their correct damage and enemy raids not happening have been fixed.
-Players who reached E-6 before the emergency patch will get an exclusive apology furniture and an early Summer event equipment reward for their troubles after the event.
-Kamikaze class DDs Kamikaze and Harukaze, Oyashio, Pola and Iowa are available in this event.
-New equipment such as the Catalina, interceptor fighters and Iowa's OS2U stock equipment can be earned this event.
-Land-based aircraft and their famed pilots have been added. They can be used with the new land-based aerial support mechanic which can also accommodate naval aircraft. Land-based air squadrons will be able to aid your fleet at up to 2 specific nodes.
-The first part consists of 4 maps. E3 rewards Kamikaze along with the ability to use the new aerial support mechanic.
-The second part consists of 1 map, which rewards Pola and is optional.
-The third part consists of 2 maps, which rewards Iowa for the final map.
-The max slot counts have been increased to 290/1260 for ships/equipment respectively.
-An Asashio class DD will get her Kai 2 this spring.
-Android lottery results are out, the 250k winners must wait until the end of the event to gain access.

Well you have resources to do full kuso, E1 and E4 hard are also an option if your ships/equips are up to the old meta, and E2 hard is an option if you have enough WG and tanks. E3 is piss easy and is only limited by E2 difficulty.

Most people put the 244 in the first wave, usually with a skilled 21 or 52. I personally put the regular Hien in the third wave with the bombers.

By the time your combined fleet engages in opening air, there's usually only 0-12 abyss bombers remaining which AACI wipes out. There are still enough intact fighters that your boss aerial support will need a token fighter squadron to avoid losses to bombers.

You only meet Wo kai once on the first node with all your fuel intact. Sparkling and no BB makes it a breeze. I can share the loadout, what matters is the main fleet. Have 2 CV with only torpedo bombers and the other 2 with either a mix of dive bomb and torpedo or all T62 fighter bomber for more air power. The reason for that is to have 2 CVs guarantee hitting anything but the boss, which is important for yasen because you don't want anyone to hit the escorts. Just change the escort fleet to your best anti installation ships, which is Tone class and Ooyodo.

Being a TTK stuck in gook military service is lunatic mode. I've managed to clear the last event on hard difficulty due to how easy the entire event was, but this one I'm going to have to suck up and finish on kuso mode.

Kusomode doesn't actually need boss support for chipping runs. Running 2/1/1 for LBAS is sufficient to blow everyone up. It's also a waste of time chevroning them since it's highly likely you'll encounter diamond formation at boss node which will fuck your bombers up even as they fuck Central Hime up.

I did and got Chitose and Chiyoda to her Kai 2 as people have said they're the second best below Jun'you and they're Fast so they will at times be the choice if Jun'you isn't available.

But I don't have that great of blue planes, I have shit luck when it came to crafting planes and radars. I only recently finally got some Ryuusei/Ryuusei Kai Reppus and Shinden Kai and a Radar 33/Radar 32. The Torp 97 didn't do well for me.

As I said above I know the Dragons have fantastic planes in their Kai 2, but neither of them dropped for me. I will try my best to obtain them next month, even if I have to craft them with dailies every day until they come out.

Hey friends of /jp/, Shitanon here, just wanted to let you all know I finally beat E-7 (kuso of course, it's in my name!) with my kuso furiito.

It took me 215 runs, depleted my Fuel and Baux. as it should've, made me super fucking sad and basically give up on clearing the event, but then this morning whilst I ate breakfast, my girls pulled through (specifically a certain Bongo).

And just to top it off, Harukaze decided to drop from the A Rank, just as I was muttering to myself "Wouldn't it be hilarious if I got a good drop too, not that that'll happen anyway".

Well, that's all from me, see you all next event, though hopefully I will probably train my shipgirls and assemble decent-good equipment so I can finally actually relinquish this name already.

Also reminder that I didn't pull Prinz Eugen back at the Kashima event, that guy is a fucking faker and I still don't have Prinz to this day.

No offense, but I'm going to assume that you didn't go full retard and screw up the S-Ranks somehow, and that this is just a caching problem or something. Because you should definitely be hearing the 「マサカ」if you've cleared all 4 nodes. (You can always try clearing them again if you have the time and resources to spare.)

Post aerial support set-up (oops, limit reached, never mind). I can tell you what I did, for what it's worth:

-Main Fleet: Akitsu Maru w/ FCF, rest Reppuu; Cranes x 2 (non-armoured); Fusous x 2; Maya AACI. Cranes were loaded with enough fighters for AS if not AS+ on all nodes, rest of their slots were torpedo bombers. Fusous had Zuiuns T12 and AP shells other than main guns.

-Escort Fleet: Jintsuu / Shigure / Ooshio / KTKM / Prinz / Choukai. Jintsuu had the night scout. Shigure had a double attack set-up along with a searchlight in case it came down to night battles since she's a damage magnet anyway. Ooshio wasn't even at K2 yet but I anticipated being stuck here for longer than I actually was, and I was hoping to get her to K2 along the way. KTKM was there to hopefully nuke the battleship princess at night, as well as to clear the trash on the way to the boss. (She failed to do much at the boss node most of the time, though.) Prinz and Choukai had the usual T3 shell set-up.

-Support Fleets: Boss support got my best dive bombers (i.e. like >>15307903 said, I went all-in on the aerial support gambit). Whatever was left went to node support carriers. Which is why my cranes only had torpedo bombers (at least they could hit things other than the battleship at the boss).

She was fully debuffed, the AS+ made a huge difference in opening strike reliability.

You could safely CFC the BB or anything from escort if it got taiha'd , as everything is on the airstrike gamble, it either 1shots her or you dont kill her from my experience.
