That they just don't know when to stop. It might not matter for an oni but for a human it's very unhealthy and I think it defeats it's purpose (passing out from too much alcohol or being too drunk to be coherent is not very fun).

Plus that they'd probably disregard you if you can't keep up with them.

I've had this idea for a fangame for a while where you go around as Sumireko (hold on before you denounce me for that) and befriend all the characters. You'd explore Gensokyo and make friends by talking, doing fetch quests, and fighting certain characters. Each character has a short storyline. Sumireko would keep track of her relationships on her tablet, and you could dress characters up how you want. I'd like to play something like that, at least.

That was Nitori's own account, not Akyuu's. And according to Akyuu they still have the shirikodama reputation.

Thinking about it, they also wouldn't come into contact that often due to running away. The only time they really show themselves in front of humans is a. if in a pack and b. when holding bazaars or other attractions, with exception.

Also from what we, the viewers have seen, kappa are greedy assholes who think themselves better than humans and only act friendly on the surface.
