Ive been playing all day so far and boy do I suck at this game.

Gilgamesh is GOD tier. Can beat him on anything other than begineer difficulty, which is stupid easy.

Berzerker is tough -.- HP regen can be killer with this guy. Caster is cheap. Has this move that puts you far away from her then she spams lightning bolts and other magic.

Alot like melty blood in that its all about the combos. Mission mode is gonna be hard to pass since I cant read moonspeak.

Just kept playing arcade mode with different characters and eventually they get unlocked. Think I did saber lancer ridere sauka rin bazzete archer. By the time you finish these you should have some of the hidden characters unlocked. Lily unlocks after you beat Saber Alters Aracade mode I belive.

the latest versions didn't play this game well for me but i switched around a bit and found 377x3vupcsx2 to be the best, lowest fps it gets is 51 on that really 3d heavy map so you don't even notice slowdown.

Modding the PS2 used to be a massive hassle back when you only had hard chip solutions because it was really delicate work on the old model boards and some models also had laser burnout issues and died quickly unless you fiddled with that too.

Nowdays you have swapdisks and a million options on what has become the most modded console. It's not a effort to get one, what is an effort is trying to run a PS2 emulator at a decent framerate consistantly.

Judging by that pic, you have the internal resolution set quite high. Try lowering GSdx's internal res a little. I lowered it to 1024x1024..looks fine, and runs quite a bit better. Still get periodic slowdown with certain character+stage combinations, but most run full speed.

Q6600@3.2GHz, 8800GTS-512MB, PCSX2 PPr383, GSdx 1.12, etc. Runs great for the most part.

The only mod you need to make is to disable the sensors that detect the lid being opened(for slim ps2) For the fat ps2 you can just pry the tray open without pressing the button to swap discs.

you already have swap magic? then all you need to do is disable the three sensors.

this shows a way to do it without opening the case. Sensors 1 and 3 are easier to do if you take the lid off. Theres 6 screws or so on the bottom, then the whole top plastic piece can be popped off. Its not too difficult.

I say two instead of one because the model viewer apparently has two locked slots after unlocking all of the known characters.
