but lulwy really doesnt give much, stat bonuses are capped at something like 255 so by the time you get this its not that noticeable. Trick's duration/sp is painful for pc to use constantly.

So I've been running around searching for treasure and when I get back to town I'm greeted with the craziest sound. Hundreds of level up sounds overlapping each other, as the game lags a few seconds. I should drag them along on future treasure hunts.

Do you know which gods should i prioritize getting the gifts first? I started with itzpalt to get an Exile pet, since it seemed to be the best, but i'm at loss at which god i should target now. Yacatect seems to be the best choice, but i dunno.

Higher damage dice than adamantium, but slightly lower hit rate. I prefer adamantium from an RP perspective, since it's a nice and strong metal and carrying it around doesn't give you AIDS. The difference isn't that big.

It probably doesn't matter much late game. You'll be getting a bunch of +damage multipliers from enchants, attributes, skills, etc. Easily in the hundreds range. The difference in weapon material will likely be a rounding error, for most of the superior materials.

If we think of it as the planet's immune system, then ether disease can be compared to an autoimmune disease. But since just holding a chunk of ether gives you the disease, the ore is almost like plutonium. The winds only even got this bad due to Meshera going rampant after mass ether mining.

Pretty sure they used to be, but according to http://elonagather.wiki.fc2.com/ it seems the races have been constantly wiped out, subject to divine intervention (or genocide) or experimented on. I don't have screens on hand but the NPCs also talk about this, that the humans that get all fucked up from ether (while elea handle it just fine) are a relatively recent development.

Well...practically every character turns into a hybrid at some point, because you want to learn and train every skill. My latest started out as a farmer that became a spellcasting archer/pet master. You should choose one primary attack type to focus on though, so while every character benefits from spell training at the town wizard (for stats and buffs), you want to always attack with one of melee, ranged or magic.

If we talk about mechanics, timestop on thrown is very weak, especially if you fill panties with lead with some cursed flying scroll help (meager 5% chance of 4 turns without crits), +elemental/magic damage would be much more powerful.

If it's December in-game or in real life it trains faith, magic, and luck (small permanent increase of luck!) you get a whopping +250 luck buff that lasts 1k turns (highest non-dream buff available at 2.5x the blessed food buff). It gathers your party like a picnic basket, too. If it's not December it doesn't do anything besides gather your squad and fill you up. Note that because it's used as a (t)ool and not from the (e)at menu, you can keep eating cake even when full. So at the end of the year if you have a lot left you can stuff yourself with the whole family and gain 200 pounds

I know that bought item's price is remembered so you cant abuse change material by re-selling it, but what about crafts/drops? Do i get much more more money if i change material to, say, Ether?

When in doubt, ctrl+F terms in the changelog first. The change you're referring to was a reduction of the part material plays in the calculation of item value (1.71), so any shitty item wouldn't be worth 100,000 gold just for being rubynus. You will still get significantly more money for selling an ether panty compared to a cloth one, but I personally wouldn't recommend spending the time changing materials as in the same time you were messing around with scrolls you could just run through a dungeon floor and pick up a bag full of trash to dump in the shop (high level dungeons/void floors have a high percentage of already excellent material items).

I dont know if its a bug, it must be or maybe its supposed to mirror real life but in Delphy if you ask the blackmarket merchant for a "kiseru" you can go in debt for it. The Kiseru, from how it looks, is a drug similar to cannabis, a joint of something.

When I first started I had no idea what the hell it was at ended up being at -9000 for a little while.

You need to avoid entering places with them until you have a fighting chance. So you should make money with harvest time/low lv hunting/deliveries etc. until you can invest a little and acquire some resist gear from the black markets in Kapul and Derphy (check back on refresh), and if melee, trained your stealth to 30 for shadow step (warp to target and attack). ctrl+f loss mode and read the example early game strategy in the pastebin to get an idea of how to progress.

I dont see yerles gunners listed as dangerous enemies. Machinegunners are #1 early danger due to high hit and high base damage, out of a dozen of loss chars i died in combat 3 times to gunners and only 1 time to kobold around the corner.
Tips:
Sense object spell is great for use before opening a door in nefias.
Reading books should be done upon finishing hunting quests, you cant die here no matter what. Just stay near the edge so you could GTFO if monsters spawn.
Rush-train faith to 10 and then prech in secluded space with your pet. Unlike performing, its trained easily and provides multiple benefits. You can perform at parties at around faith 25.
Dont focus on gardening too much, high level gardening makes farm spawns very dangerous(sparrows, cockatrices etc).
Always keep rod of water ball+bolt charged and ready vs exploding enemies., even if you can use those spells.
Holy Veil is one of the most important buffs for loss.
First stage should focus on trading cargo more.
Gathering flowers is a viable source of income/pet funds early, i usually gather flowers, wood chips for crafting and dead fish for Ehekatl reward.
Once player acquired around 50-70k gold its adviced to convert to Yacatect asap, go to Derphy and buy elea wizards, strip all jewelry then sell them back, gem spell(but not pots) helps making it faster. Light weight of jewelry makes it much easier to amass offerings early.
Enter on the first floor of lesimas to get a return point for scrolls, its nice to have a fast access to altar.
Always have floating status while in dungeons when moving on new tile.

Very good advice, some comments: Preaching gives less rewards and is less effective than ensemble, which also trains and adds pet skill to its effect. No, preaching is very important early to get enough faith for last reward by november(yacatect or lulwy are easy with derphy robbery, others require dungeon diving which is not recommended early), trains much faster than performance (doesnt require public) and have lower skill level threshold for public. I'm not saying to stick with it til the end of the game. Perhaps if you're going for a fast clear in game months, but if you're going for the fastest play time clear I think preaching would take up too much real time. I reached max favor by leveling as quickly as possible->using bonus points and equipping the unknown shell for a large faith boost. Traveling constantly also helped.

Reading party may use a lot of sp, but you can spam it anywhere at any time without regard to difficulty, and as mentioned train the entire party. I have it on a hotkey and every time I'm in town and the stamina bar is full I mash reading party. The point of doing this is in the long run the habit will give your pets a large learning stat boost and a bunch of levels. It's better for players with multiple pets.

Calm down. I never said a non-mage doesn't need spell stock at all, but relatively little. And I'm absolutely for using the wizard instead of grinding it out manually, especially after ramping up your fame, because the plat costs really aren't that high. You quickly start raking in up to 10 plat per panic quest and you can beat the first two acts without buffs no problem. Plat is easier than ever to get. Those well-leveled overlayed buffs are only strictly necessary in the void and high-leveled dungeons.

Another thing, I think bonus points are cheap and free to waste on whatever makes life easier. Once you get past a certain point, leveling gets faster and faster and before too long you're grinding up enemies in the void and gaining dozens of levels due to the exp bonus from killing high level enemies (I was getting 10 million exp a pop and wasn't even very deep).

I'm calm. Well, let me explain you mechanics of reading party since its a civil discussion and all.
IIRC, pets and you read the same book, you get the same exp as reading normally technically, with much higher 'reading power' than normal reading, but pets train skills 5 times(i think? dont remember exact pet exp bonus) faster than you, so you use up their potentials much faster than your own. If you can read the book yourself and pets' potentials are used up, using reading party any more is a massive waste of sp and real world time.

By the time you get 10pp per quest on >loss<, you should have enough memorization to not care about spell stock at all so its a moot point (still better use that pp stock on maxing out memorization for wish books instead, and you do that by spam-reading oracle books, which is, again, unsafe outside of mission areas).

Levels go fast then go slower and slower, eventually you'll have to rely on stocked up pots of descent instead of grinding void for levels. And you need more and more points to level skills at higher levels. Well, it all depends on how far do you plan to go, in the end. Act accordingly.

You're familiar with the constant ''[pet] has visited the trainer'' messages. So I use reading party while they keep regaining potential, and since I do my actual spell leveling through the wizard I've got as much spell stock as I need. You'd be surprised how quickly you can grind out fame in order to max out plat from quests, and the enemies in panic/challenge quests are weaker than you'd expect from their level. And yes, this is all on loss. After having to start from scratch you try to be more efficient. You do need more points to level skills, but as your skills rise, the same points increase the lower level skills by a greater amount than when all your skills were that low. So what I'm saying is gun for fame (plat increase), early void and levels ASAP for the best time.

Sleep restores a very small amount. Ideally you want blessed potions of potential. The potions can be found on magic vendors. Heh, I went to look at those changes but I guess 1.76 is now out. All I can say for the changes I'm interested in is damn I'm so glad I'm an elemental user.

Anyhow, about your question. Prior character was doing 3-5 million with MA in one action. 2-4 million with two hand. About 1.6-2 million with meteor. Dual wield just shy of 1 mill but around 2 mill if invokes went off. Max HP in the game is 20 mill however that value can only be reached by players and pets. You won't see that on a monster because I haven't seen a monster with 1000 life yet. General max level of a monster is 6,666 with one exception. An awakened dungeon can spawn a boss at lv 8,332. Most end game enemies have HP around 3 to 6 million. Given the kind of damage I was doing mentioned above. Most enemies died in 1-3 actions so somewhere between 12-24 attacks. Note that I'm not a mutant and only have 2 hands.

The change you mention probably won't effect non mutants much but a multi handed mutant that just focused on hands might be effected. It probably toned down their damage but they still probably can kill things in one turn if properly built and leveled.

Personally I think early on skills will level up very quickly just by using them normally and you should focus on stats/equipment first, but if you want to grind skills early then find a super weak weapon like one made out of paper and
use it to repeatedly attack tanky enemies. Make sure you have the appropriate skills at high potential through training at a trainer.

If you want to make your leveling easier, get Jure's 4th reward. I know it's probably not what you'd consider early game but it's weapon that essentially reduces your damage to 0, so you can easily use it to level up stuff like tactics/throwing/etc by just bopping a putit on the head for 0 over and over. You can also learn continuous attacks from Leold, since more attacks = more exp so continuous attacks will give you lots of skill training.

I had enough HP to survive them by the time I first met them due to job board stuff and leveling up. Making them wet also should keep them from blowing up. So throwing potions at them or using alchemy rain to tag a bunch of them should work. Could also try to kill them before they kill you or teleport away to safety before they blow up. Try to pick them off at range later on.

Purge mode is such a weird outcome. Like, when they were teasing an "afk-grind" mode, I expected something like potentials min 100%, slowly increase when unused, bringing back sandbag training, maybe reducing plat costs. So after a little testing I discovered some of the things that don't benefit from the combo spell thing. Breath attacks, invokes (including grenade), and rods all didn't gain the extra damage. Why exclude rods though? I can understand the first two but rods really could have used this.

Being surrounded by monsters that do a lot of damage and not being able to cast heal due to being locked down by silence is not a situation I wish upon anyone.
