I'll give it a shot on Normal, then. My problem on Easy is that I bomb to give myself some space every ten seconds or so and subsequently lose bullet power, making the spellcard take longer, making me want to bomb more, etc. I hate MoF's power-siphoning bomb ammo system. Ugh.

Bombs in MoF are too strong.
Even if you use a bomb, you still have 4.00 power = all 4 options.
If you bomb 5 times on that last spellcard, you can still shoot the whole time with your Main Shot, which is as powerful as it is with 5.00.
When you run out, you can simply dodge till you die, and get a few extra bombs. (if you haven't already lost all of them in earlier levels. If this is the case, you probably didn't bomb enough)

and yes, the card is much easier on Normal than on Easy. Easy enough for you to capture with some practice.
