A format similar to the world guide.
I had this idea that Mari's kingdom is adventure themed.
It's based on the books she read as a child and the things that influenced her back then.
I introduced 4 grand elementals, I had planned that these elementals would govern one of each island, and each island would have it's fair set of problems for adventurers to solve.
Like for example, earth element would be like a starting area where adventurers would first come onto the island and solve problems like goblin raids and other minor stuff.
There's grand plots that head monsters for each islands craft for adventurers to sink their teeth into.
The adventurers can be anything from man and women seeking the thrill of adventure, to monster couples seeking the same thing.
An idea I was was that the water elemental island had some water themed areas as well as snowy mountains, where they would eventually come upon cabins to relax, enjoy some hot chocolate in front of a fire, or enjoy the spectacular view from the large windows on a possible observation floor.
That last bit I got the idea from the tales series since they like to do those final moments before the final battle where they enjoy each other's company and reflect on their times together.
Tales of symphonia and berseria is my inspiration with the whole winter town theme.
Additionally, if unmaried men lose on their journey, the monster who defeated them get to have a husband, but if the man gets strong enough he might make it to the boss of that area and maybe lose to them, so in a way, it's technically a dating service for monsters.
Hope that gives a small idea of what I have in mind.
