I did use version.txt from the 5.05 ver, the game still won't launch.
To use it just extract the UPDATE folder from the ISO and pack it with PBP unpacker. Then put the EBOOT.PBP in the MS root, extract the PBP with psardumper 5.00+ (encrypted--the version.txt isn't encrypted anyway) and then change it.

Yeah, for stuff that should have already been in the game to begin with, like the costumes.

I can SOMEWHAT understand extra songs being download-able, but the price is fucked up. 150 yen per character ends up being 1350 per song for all characters. The xbox360 version has essentially 16 songs by 10 different voices. Excluding all the other work that went into the game and assuming the game consists of price of songs only, thats roughly 37 yen per character per song. Bullshit.

Again, downloadable content is a rape-happy marketing scheme that pains me when i see people buying into it. All they are doing is encouraging game companies to rape us harder.

The error thats with Idol and Media could be the reason why 5.05 hasn't been relase yet. I mean from I read its a big problem. You can lose your Idol save file due to it not writing the DLC the way it should.
